22.01.2022 Year Six students need to wear their red Amaroo shirt for their class and individual photo tomorrow, but are required to bring their leavers shirt for their Graduation Photo. Faction Captains and Student Councillors please bring your shirts and badges tomorrow for your group photo.

15.01.2022 World Teachers’ Day Today we celebrated World Teachers’ Day by spoiling our wonderful Amaroo Teachers (and some of our beautiful EA’s)... You only have to walk through the corridors on any given day and hear the care, support, opportunities and expertise that our wonderful teachers provide to our students, each other, our staff and our community as a whole.... The last week in our school has been nothing short of amazing with our Kindy Open Day, Book Week and our Athletics Carnival and our teaching staff, along with the rest of our amazing Amaroo team, have made these things possible. Thank you to our Amaroo Teachers- you are so very valued and we were glad you were able to have the spotlight for today

09.01.2022 AMAROO OPEN NIGHT!!! Just a reminder that tonight is our open night. Classrooms will be open between 3:30pm and 5:30pm for parents and families to come in and see all of the amazing things our students have been doing this term. Teachers and students have been working very hard to prepare and showcase all of the wonderful things they have been achieving this year in their classrooms. There will be a focus on technology and the wonderful "tech" the students have been working on. We hope to see all of our amazing Amaroo families soon

08.01.2022 Today we celebrated Australian Teacher Aide Appreciation Week. We are very lucky at Amaroo to have a large, vibrant team of Education Assistants which enrich both our students’ outcomes as well as our school culture. On behalf of everyone at Amaroo we would like to extend a THANK YOU to all of our wonderful EAs for for everything that you do for our students- you all go above and beyond and it is very much appreciated by everyone in our school community. Today our EAs were treated to a yummy morning tea to show them how much we appreciate them (Pictured is our Friday Squad of EAs )

01.01.2022 BIRTHDAY BUCKETS The P&C is happy to announce we are now doing birthday buckets. You can order a choice of cupcakes, Freddos or icy poles to be delivered to your child’s classroom to share with their classmates for their birthday. They will also receive a small birthday gift. Food allergies and intolerances are able to be catered for provided that the school has been previously made aware of your child’s needs. Please ensure that your child’s information is up to date in th...e school’s system to avoid any potential allergy or food intolerance issues.
