25.01.2022 Wai Anangu Tjuta We hope you've all had a great break. As you know, school is starting a little late this term, due to school staff having to self-isolate for 14 days before we return to Amata. We are doing this to keep everyone safe, to make sure that we keep Amata a COVID-19 free zone! Staff will be back on board, ready for school to open on Wednesday May 13th.... As you know, we delivered take home learning packs to students before we left, and now is the time for students to get started on their work. Any way that you can support your children to get this done would be great Keep checking this page for any important information. If you have ANY questions, please feel free to send us a message, or post questions here. Alternatively, if that doesn't suit you, speak to Georgia with your enquiries and she would be more than happy to contact us on your behalf. Palyau!

21.01.2022 We are so happy to have our amazing AE Brenda back! The Junior Secondary students have missed her strong, creative presence in the classroom. Putting her awesome translation skills into practice, Brenda is leading the way!

19.01.2022 Over the last few weeks our kids have been learning about the seven sisters story. Our AE's Muna, Frena, David and Tessie have been awesome in taking students out on country to tell their tjukurpa!

18.01.2022 Wai, Anangu Tjuta. The last day for students this term will be Friday, April the 3rd. This is a little earlier than usual due to the uncertain times that we are facing at the moment. Teachers and school staff have been working incredibly hard over the past few weeks putting together 'take home learning packs' for all students. We have done this because we want to ensure that all students are provided continuity of learning during this time. Teachers will send these home with ...students tomorrow. We are so proud of our students and the efforts they have displayed over the past few weeks regarding safe hygeine practices. We urge all students to keep these practices up at home while school is closed. Please like our Facebook page in order to keep up to date with all the latest and important information regarding student learning at Amata Anangu School. Take care everyone, and we'll see you next term!

17.01.2022 Our Sydney crew is back home in Amata We spent Tuesday at the aquarium seeing dugongs, sharks and a clownfish like Nemo! We even went on a little boat ride through the penguin enclosure where it was only 6 degrees We went to the Sydney Tower and saw amazing views all over Sydney and Darling Harbour. Everyone was brave and got super close to the edge to look down even though it was super high ... We flew home yesterday and got back in to Amata just as school was finishing! The teachers that went on the trip are super proud of the amazing Amata students and how well they represented their community and their school

02.01.2022 Wai Anangu Tjuta! As you all know, Amata Anangu School staff may be away for a little while at the beginning of next term, so we created take home learning packs for all of our students. Thinking about where students can keep their work safe once they have finished, school staff came up with the idea of an Amata Anangu School Post Box! Our AE's and some little helpers painted the post box in vibrant, beautiful colours, making it super inviting for our students. The post box ...has been secured to Rhianna's front porch. Students can 'post' their work once they have finished, into the post box, and their work will be keep safe and sound until school staff return. We can't wait to see all of the amazing work that our students have done when we get back. Palyau!
