It was during the construction of this project that the potential to create an internal courtyard was unearthed and in turn designed to become the lungs and heart of this new creative hub. Intentionally minimal and multi-use, yet crafted and considered, we thoroughly enjoyed being involved in giving this nook a new breath life and introducing a new tree tenant to down town Redfern!

14.01.2022 We had a lot of fun collaborating with Atelier Andy Carson on the design of a wee courtyard that was unearthed during the adaptive re-construction process and now forms the heart [Pear tree and all!] of what is now one of Sydneys a new creative hubs; located at 16 Eveleigh Street, Redfern. Now home to Henry Lees and Cake Wines, as well as to some of Sydneys key creative businesses, it oozes with the potential for great things ahead. Go check it out and see for yourself!

Are willing to collaborate, have ownership of their design, design amazing things from A to Z , liase with builders and consultants, know how to document DAs and full construction sets, how to detail custom joinery is an absolute bonus - we like CUSTOM! Ideally this amazing person would have 4-5 years experience in th...e field, Archicad or Autocad skills a must as well as Adobe suite skills for mouth watering presentations.... is that all you ask?!
