23.01.2022 WHITE RIBBON DAY In 1999, the United Nations General Assembly declared November 25 the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IDEVAW) ...and the White Ribbon has become the symbol for the day. The White Ribbon Campaign is the only national violence prevention campaign, and it is unique in that it aims to raise awareness among Australian men and boys about the roles they can play to prevent violence against women. The campaign calls for men across Australia to speak out and take an oath. An oath swearing never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women. The campaign culminates on White Ribbon Day (25 November) each year, when men and women across Australia are called to wear a white ribbon or wristband as a visual symbol of their commitment and oath. @whiteribbonaust #coffeelover #amerucoffee #whiteribbonday #meru #fairtrade #sustainability #greenbeans #coffeebreak See more

15.01.2022 African Professionals of Australia (APA) celebrated their 10 years anniversary on Saturday and it has been an absolute pleasure for Ameru Coffee to be one of th...e main sponsors of this milestone celebration. Guest speakers like Kenyan-born senator Lucy Gichuhi (South Australia) and Julie Owens, Member of Parliament for Parramatta, acknowledged the important work APA is doing since it was launched in 2007 and the great impact it has had in the short time since it was established by supporting professionals of African origin and empowering them to reach their full potential in their chosen field. The work of this not-for-profit organisation contributes significantly to the career success of many individuals as well as the improvement of Australia’s workforce.

14.01.2022 All of our single origin beans can be purchased individually as green or roasted beans or blended together as the Ameru House Blend, which has been handcrafted into our own special recipe to offer a distinct but complex aroma while highlighting the single origin’s individual characteristics. 13.01.2022 Did you know coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world, right after oil? Ameru imports it’s green beans directly from the farmers in Kenya, where ...70% of the country’s population is either directly or indirectly employed in agriculture. Coffee is a major source of income and employment for many Kenyans and buying our coffee beans directly from the farmers not only allows us best access to premium quality coffee but also gives us the opportunity to directly impact and support the livelihood of the local farmers. Get in touch via [email protected] to request some samples or to place an order for green or roasted beans.

13.01.2022 Now meet Vifaru, one of our personal favourites: PB (Vifaru) Higher density and a more concentrated, robust flavour give this bean a rich aroma and distinct acidity. Named after our rare Kenya Rhino.

12.01.2022 At Ameru it is not just about supplying and serving coffee but also about creating a bond with its origin, Africa. We got pretty lucky last time, only Chui - the Kenyan leopard - didn’t show itself. Who wants to join us finding it on the next Ameru Coffee Safari this December???
