23.01.2022 Some photos from last nights game

23.01.2022 Welcome circuit family to our pending game tonight at 6.50 tonight at the fitness centre. A couple of guys missing tonight but that won’t slow us down (we are already slow) If your up for some entertainment and giggling at others then 6.50 at the fitness centre is the place to be. We hope to see you there as the Short Circuit juggernaut rolls on!!

20.01.2022 Less than an hour until tip off tonight at 6pm! We have a couple of changes to the side for tonight’s match including a big out with the main man Baird over in Cleveland debuting for the Lakers against the Cavs tomorrow. Coming in for him is the better Burger which will add a lot of height and experience.... IN- A. Burger OUT- D. Baird (International Duties)

16.01.2022 Finals are on the for the Circuits tonight in our inaugural season with a GF berth at stake for the winner!!! With a few players out it will be tough Bring it on!!!!!

14.01.2022 Big news for the Short Circuits next season, stay tuned..!

12.01.2022 Welcome to Season 2019! Week 1 we were supposed to play ATC but it was a washout due to Honcho raining 3's earlier that arvo whilst getting in some extra practice. Week 2 saw us collect our first points for the season thanks to the Bye and has us sitting in the top 5.... So although the season technically got underway 2 weeks ago, we're playing our first game this week against the Honey Badgers at 6.50pm on Court 2. The support last year was surreal and we hope to see that extend again this season.

11.01.2022 ROUND 5 WRAP UP! Taking on the Necropolis Wolves tonight we put up our best display of basketball so far! It was a tight contest through the whole first quarter with Carthew and Porter knocking down shots from everywhere. It wasn't until skipper Burger had a rest at the start of the 2nd half we lost our way a little bit and let them extend their lead some more. End Result: Lost 22-28.... Votes: 3- A. Burger 2- N. Carthew 1- F. Porter

08.01.2022 Losing 21-80 against the Honeybadgers tonight wasn’t the result we were after. Bairdy’s shock appearance played with our minds thinking we had the game won even before the tip off. Votes- 3- D. Baird: Simply for putting his team first and showing up when he had other commitments. 2- Jennylee: Gave 110% all night at the score desk.... 1- Honeybadgers: For not beating us by more. Onwards and upwards next week with only a couple of rounds to go before the end of season.

06.01.2022 *BREAKING NEWS* It has just been reported that the Circuits leading scorer Frank Porter has left the club effective immediately. Media outlets all over Australia have tried to contact Porter who has refused to comment on his shock decision to walk away from the club.

06.01.2022 Not the result we were after tonight but some very promising signs. We went down 68-34 Our highest score by a mile, we actually looked like ball players tonight!! A great team effort. Thanks to Bairdy for scoring and Rotor for coaching. Well done to the Bricklayers, great kids and we had a ball trying to run with you blokes. Our guys learned a lot. Team changes are afoot with 2 guys relegated to the reserves and a couple of promotions within the team. Video footage is alr...eady loaded onto my Facebook page. We live streamed to Malaysia so our two new reserve players can see how it’s done!! Cheers Ads See more

05.01.2022 Another loss tonight for the circuits, going down 75-20. Offensively it was an improvement being our highest score for the season so far. Defence - there wasn’t any!!! Best on court Scottie Woolley again, having a fine season so far. Injury toll not good, Bairdy popped out his shoulder and is at the hospital and Wayno did a quad.... With a mounting injury toll and two guys overseas next week, match committee hasn’t got many choices to make. Cheers See more

04.01.2022 75-12 loss tonight Carthew left burnouts on the court from three point range as he caught fire (finally) I’m sure this will spread like wildfire through AME tomorrow No one else could buy a basket and the defence was much better than previous weeks. Thanks to the ballers for the game, our loyal scorers and Geoff for reffing.... Ice now on to get rid of swollen knees for next week. See you then. See more

03.01.2022 Baird has played a pivotal role tonight keeping the bench warm

02.01.2022 No play tonight as stand-in skipper (for the first and last time) D. Baird chose to forfeit the match. Here’s what he had to say on the controversial decision: I wanted to play, I did. But I think I’d still much rather go home from work, sit on the couch in my jocks eating a big bag of Cheetos. Now if that’s not motivation to all you young ballers out there, I don’t know what is.
