20.01.2022 It wasn’t until the eighth day of her labour that she was finally operated on. In recovery, she asked of her baby only to be told he had died and that they had already buried him. Iwuli never saw her own baby boy. It was immediately after my operation that I realised I had a serious problem with my body, Iwuli said. The clothing I had brought with me was now drenched in urine.... Eight days of labour and the extreme pressure of the baby’s head on the birth canal had created a serious obstetric fistula, leaving her completely incontinent.... Amira is striving to assist women like Iwuli. To continue reading her incredible story and how she has turned her life around go to https://amiradesigns.com.au/stories/
