17.01.2022 well this one is a doozzzzyyyyyyyy... what originally was a few gaskets and timing kit/ water pump.. turn into discovering every single exhaust valve slightly bent 3-7thou out of clearance, scored exhaust camshaft and head journals, and a nasty crack in cylinder 3 bore lining + needing a new clutch its getting a new motor, new exedy clutch and timing kit/ water pump with penrite oil and fresh coolant

14.01.2022 Ladies and gentleman... if your partner or friend says hes a mechanic but doesnt nor has ever worked in a mechanical shop pleaseeeeeee take your car to an actual mechanic! Suzuki sx4 attempted timing chain job. 11 missing timing case and sump bolts, 3 loose timing case bolts. 5 teeth out on exhaust cam. 1 tooth out on intake. Loose spark plugs. Destroyed woodruff key (locates timing gear to crankshaft). Crankshaft pulley bolt 4 threads loose. No oil in the engine. Timing case was sealed with roofing sealant. 3 missing rocker cover bolts. Top timing guide loose. Sump plug loose and missing washer. Air filter and box was removed and never refitted, no cam sensor seal. Edit.. this was supposedly done by a QUALIFIED mechanic.

11.01.2022 well its been a long dirty night, but found the culprit throw out bearing collapsed, tension spring for the clutch fork snapped thus the fork jumped over the throw out bearing and was pressing directly onto the pressure plate... not the ideal way to use the clutch new single mass exedy heavy duty clutch kit with bearing, new clutch fork and spigot bearing in tomorrow

11.01.2022 Another quick job on the side, 2012 kx250f. Wasnt starting easy and wouldnt idle at all, checked the valve clearances to find the intake was fully closed and at the max shim size, and further inspection needed new rings, so 2 new kibblewhite stainless valves with dual springs and titanium retainers, wossner forged piston kit, Hinson race style clutch, new timing kit, spark plug and Cometic steel gaskets. All machining and honing done in-house
