This week we had the pleasure of hosting young artist Jannah Allen who participated in a variety of classes. "The secondment I was offered with AMPA was a really enjoyable experience. I was fortunate to take classes with some inspiring people whose classes challenged me in the complexity and simplicity of it. We teach children how to be confident, dance like no one is watching and most importantly have fun. This vision is created at children’s birthday parties (age 4-12yrs), school discos, child care centers, sports clubs, etc So if you want to party with children and be paid for it? Then this is the perfect job for someone who is looking for weekend work, loves performing and having fun with children, plus needs to keep their weekdays free for auditions, study, etc. Pay rate: $110 + Super (per 2hr event) Some important criteria: Be over 18 years. Have own reliable car. Preferably be available to work on Friday afternoons as well as Saturdays and Sundays. Be able to commit to at least 2-3 parties a weekend. Be extremely reliable and committed as well as having strong communication skills. Willing to travel all over Sydney to various disco’s. Energetic enough to host school disco’s with up to 300 kids (how cool!). You will be dancing the whole time; therefore you need to be able to teach simple dance routines and be confident performing on stage.
