24.01.2022 This Thursday 17th December is the last training session for 2020 Ladies. Please join us after training, 6pm for a sausage sizzle and a catch up. To all our players that haven’t made it to training yet we would love to see you pop past. We need to put the side or sides in January so would be great if you could come and sign up. 20.01.2022 *Message From The President* Dear All, apologies for the delay getting todays scores vs HBL to you. I can tell you that our Colts were brave and played one of their best games this year. Hawks Reserves had a real crack and really took it to the ladder leaders, falling in the end but was a great game. Our very best League side were competitive early and despite courageous 4 quarter efforts from Captain Mitch Lynn and his cohorts were unable to sing the song. On behalf of the... 19.01.2022 Ladies I have been hearing rumours that some of our senior players may not be coming due to the timing of our training. Training times will change in the new ye...ar to suit a broader range of people. Obviously I cannot please everyone but I am happy to accommodate where possible. Our senior players are so important to the general makeup of the team. If you can only make the last half hour or so at the moment please just come and introduce yourselves to me and the team. I have a family also and to put it into perspective I have three kids. My oldest boy is 16 and my twins (boy and girl) are 13. I still need to be at their footy or basketball or dancing or debating or whatever else but I have also committed to this team. My wife is a teacher and I need to support her also as she is very busy. We can work things out to suit. Just come along for however long you have right now and we can discuss what may work better. I need you in the team and the team needs level heads and experience. Hopefully I will see you next week. We had another great turnout tonight. Cheers Matt See more

12.01.2022 As 2020 draws to a close, on behalf of the AMRFNC committee I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all our members, sponsors, staff and players who have supported the club throughout the year. Your hard work and commitment in keeping our club safe and functioning in such a chaotic year is something to be proud of. Moving into 2021 we have a new look committee who are looking forward to working towards a successful year both on and off the field. We thank both Drew Hun...ter and Dave McCashney for their many years on the committee, and the countless hours spent making AMRFNC a club we can all be proud of. We will no doubt see you around the club next year. League Reserves 18 & Under 16 & Under Team selections are made in February and training will begin as soon as teams are announced. Training will be indoors once a week. The competition runs from April - September with games played on either Saturday or Sunday at various venues throughout the South West. 07.01.2022 Augusta Margaret River Hawks senior women's team needs you. It is our goal for season 2021 to nominate a youth girls side and a senior side. Our senior team will be made up of Year 12 and older girls and our youth team will be younger with a minimum age of 13. We have had great numbers at training so far and I am confident that we can get enough to field both teams. It is so important that we get more senior bodies on the field. If you have been thinking of heading down do...n't think about it just do it. There is no cost as yet and no commitment to play. Just come and train, get to know the girls and when you feel confident have a game. Training will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the main oval Gloucester park from 5.30 to 7pm.
