23.01.2022 Our outright rally winners at the Bulahdelah Classic - Jamie and Brad Luff Well done guys!
23.01.2022 Provisional results are in as of last night. The Luffs have taken a victory after two incidents in the rally changed everything. A surprising, but well deserved win.
23.01.2022 Due to a significant incident in stage 2, we apologise for the delay in updates. We can confirm the affected crew are OK. Cars are completing stages 4 & 5 now and scoring will be updated as quickly as possible.... Cars that have received a derived time on stage 2, this will be reassessed at the completion of the event once all times have been entered. If you have any queries, please email [email protected]
23.01.2022 Update to Competitors regarding the Bulahdelah Rally and our COVID 19 Action Plan. We would like to provide a brief update to competitors regarding our plans to deal with the COVID 19 social distancing measures that have been put into place by the State and Federal Governments currently. Our COVID 19 Action Plan has been submitted to the various authorities for their approval and will be released to all competitors once approved.... Key points to be aware of regarding the Service Park are - There will be a limit of 5 persons per competitive car in the Service Park. This is the Driver, Navigator and a maximum of 3 Service Crew Members. Due to Public Gathering Restrictions, any family members (including children) who do not form part of the 3 Service Crew will be unable to enter the service park. Teams will be provided allocated service areas. As there will be no camping available at the Service Park, access will be restricted on Friday evening. If you require access to set up, you must contact Michael Bannon prior to the event so arrangements can be made, however please note that the area will not be monitored overnight. Temperature checks will be conducted Saturday morning from 6.30AM by Beneficial Safety. Access to the Service Park will not be allowed until your temperature has been recorded. More information to come as we get closer to the event. If you have any questions please email the Event Director - [email protected] - Michael Bannon
23.01.2022 All times received for the first 3 stages are now fully updated. There was a short delay due to a visit from a local. Our scorer "insisted" on keeping a close eye on him until the owner could come and collect him.
22.01.2022 A few words from our 2nd Outright finisher at Bulahdelah, Riley Walters. Great effort in trying conditions from the young fella, well done
21.01.2022 Green Light and we are good to GO!!! We have received approval today from Forestry that the event is OK to proceed even with the recent wet weather. The roads have held up ok, we may need to make some minor changes if there is more rain between now and Saturday, however it looks to be ok for now. If we receive a significant downpour between now and Saturday, things may change and we will notify competitors of any changes as soon as possible.... So, where to from here? Well, the Seeded Entry list is being worked on and will be released shortly along with our COVID 19 Action Plan and also your Service Park allocation details. A reminder that you are limited to 3 service crew, including family/children. If they have not been listed as one of your service crew, we cannot allow them entry to the service park due to the social distancing requirements to adhere to our COVID plan. There will also be NO Spectating allowed. Any person who approaches a Road Closure or Start/Finish Control trying to spectate will be turned away by the event official. Failure to leave the location will result in the stage being stopped until the area can be cleared. We have sent an email to all entrants with the Service Park Register, if you have not completed this, please do so ASAP so we can allocate your locations. There are still some competitors with outstanding Membership and Entry Fee payments, you will all be contacted shortly as these payments need to be made prior to Friday as we will not be accepting payments at the event. There will be food available from the bistro at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club, however with the recent restriction changes from the State Government, we are working on how this will affect food service. Please be patient with us as this is a constantly changing process. However, please rest assured, you will be able to get meals from the club bistro. There are also some cafe options and a supermarket in the Bulahdelah main street as well. If you have any specific dietary requirements, we suggest bringing your own food as we cannot guarantee availability of food for your specific needs due to the COVID restrictions. We look forward to seeing you all in Bulahdelah - Michael Bannon

13.01.2022 NORTH COAST RALLY UPDATE: Unfortunately the North Coast Rally scheduled to run on 15th August has been postponed. AMSAG is committed to providing its competitors with top class rallies and while it is disappointing to have to postpone the event, we do so knowing that the rescheduled event will be every bit as amazing as we want it to be and a later date will allow us the time to overcome some issues we were presented with in the lead up to this rally. We want your AMSAG exp...erience to be the very best! Were in talks with Forestries to find a new date for this year and will update you all as soon as we have it locked in. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Ill make it up to you all by posting some more content from Bulahdelah soon :) -Tara

09.01.2022 Top 10 after the first three stages.
07.01.2022 Wishing all of our members a very Merry Christmas, we hope you enjoy the festive season with your loved ones. We're looking forward to seeing you all in 2021.
07.01.2022 Notice to all members: Following on from the recent recommendations released by the NSW Chief Health Officer and NSW Office of Sport regarding the cessation of community sport activities to avoid inter-mingling and potential community transmission for a period of 6 weeks from Wednesday 19 August; it has been decided by the AMSAG Executive in consultation with the Event organisers of the Coopernook Rallysprint and Rosewood Rally to not proceed with these events as scheduled. ...It has also been decided by the Event organisers for the Armidale Rallysprint that they too will not proceed with their event as scheduled even though this event falls outside of the current 6 week recommendation period. These three events will not look to be rescheduled into an already heavily condensed calendar for the remainder of 2020 and will instead return with vigour in 2021. This will mean that our season will continue with the next scheduled event being the Orange Rally on 7 November with the Black Springs Rallysprint to follow on 21st November. We are also hopeful of being able to run the Macksville Rally at a date still to be confirmed. A decision on whether or not there will be a Series Championship for both the Pipe King Southern Cross Rally Series and Midstate Freight Rallysprint Series will be made in the coming weeks whilst we consider the options for how the Series pointscore will be calculated based upon the remaining events available. These certainly are challenging times, and we appreciate everyones patience whilst we all ride the wave of uncertainty that is the COVID 19 pandemic. For full details on the advice released by the NSW Office of Sport, please follow this link:- https://www.sport.nsw.gov.au//def/files/faqadvicesport.pdf - Michael Bannon

06.01.2022 Update to competitors: The organisers of the Bulahdelah Rally would like to provide an update on the decision to cancel the last two stages of the event. As most people will be aware by now, unfortunately Nathan Quinn and Ray Winwood-Smith had a serious collision mid-way through Stage 6. This required the attendance of the FIV. ... Whilst en-route to the accident scene it became apparent that the stage conditions had deteriorated with several crews having issues leaving the road at various points in the first half of the stage. Given the fact that the stages had obviously become difficult to traverse safely; and also due to FIV being engaged in the recovery of the Quinn/Winwood-Smith crew which would eventually lead to Ray being transferred to hospital as a result of a back injury, the decision was made on a safety basis to cancel both Stage 6 & 7. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Ray a speedy recovery. Please feel free to provide any messages of support to both Ray and Nathan below. Results are currently being checked by our Scorer. An announcement regarding Provisional Results will be made shortly. We understand this event was not what we were expecting; however the support we receive each year from not only competitors, but our officials and also the township of Bulahdelah makes all the hard work worthwhile. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the next few days. - Michael Bannon
05.01.2022 Bulahdelah Rally Update: We have now exceeded our 60 entry capacity. The maximum of 60 entries is due to the re-use of stages creating an overflow of the running schedule if we were to run more than 60 cars. So any entries from here on until the close of entries will become reserve entries to be used in the case of a crew withdrawal and will be recorded on the Event Page as a RESERVE. Any reserves that gain an entry through withdrawal of another entrant will be allocated bas...ed upon the order of the receipt of entry. Two matters which are now causing some concern are the weather and also possible increase in COVID restrictions. Currently there is an East Coast Low weather system forecast for the Mid North Coast to Hunter area with predicted rainfalls of up to 200mm. If this is to occur, there is a strong likelihood we may lose access to the Forests or our Service Park. We are working on a plan B for the Service Park in the case that is too wet but the Forests are still accessible. So it is just a waiting game now to see what happens weather wise. The other point of concern is the possible increase of restrictions regarding public gatherings. As things currently stand, we are within the allowable limit for public gatherings. However if the limits were to be reduced, we would not be able to feasibly conduct the event within those limits. We will keep everyone updated as more news comes to hand and hope to have any decisions on whether the event will proceed made as soon as possible. - Michael Bannon
04.01.2022 A fantastic day here at the 2020 North Coast Rally Service Park. All crews are checked in and raring to go. Have a fun and safe event.
