24.01.2022 Introducing new packaging for the Rose Perfume Oil. A botanical floral oriental. I’ve created a middle note that resembles the sweetness of musk (with rose absolute, geranium bourbon and a few other materials) with a vanilla and woody base note. Hand blended in a base of Camillia oil with essential oils and absolutes.

21.01.2022 Good things take time Last night I realised that my launch for the new look ROSE botanical lifestyle collection won’t be released in time for Christmas. Doing everything I possibly can to make this happen, (Did you know I work two jobs, Im also an Allied Health Assistant) whilst attending to my beautiful wellness clientele week nights and weekends). I’m also a mum to my 4 1/2 year old daughter Rose and partner to my fiancé Mark. ... The reality of life hit me hard, sometimes I feel, that no matter how hard you try the more you push and force to make ‘something happen’ or ‘really want something so badly’ the more resistance and challenges you’ll face. I’m sure those of you can relate if you are a creative and or have a secret wish to become a reality it does take patience, time, trial and error, persistence and most of all self belief. Upon contemplation, and turning a what I thought at the time, a negative mindset to a positive mindset , a shift in my way of thinking, is it really that bad that my collection won’t be released in time for Christmas? The answer is NO. Why rush it? I’ve personally found if I look at the brighter side of life and all of the challenging cross roads , I feel they’ve happened to me for a reason. Christmas was not the best time to launch the ROSE collection, Valentine’s Day is! Makes sense right? 20.01.2022 Four years in the making, the year 2016, I created my very first botanical fragrance the ROSE perfume oil. . . I’ve had a moment to reflect this weekend, that this beautiful, subtle, sweet musk perfume will be ready in time for Christmas. .... . I hope fellow creatives can relate to this, that procrastination and perfectionism can be your worst enemy and slow the creative path. . . Being an artist in whatever field you choose, to reflect and express your life’s lessons and passion, I believe all comes down to being confident enough to show and express your creative flare to the world. . Although many may judge and critic an artists work such as fashion, art, music and so forth, the creative process is also about understanding that not everyone will like your work, (I’ve also learnt that being a people pleaser , listening to mostly positive , but occasionally a few negative comments, can be in particular, quite challenging ) And this is ok as not everyone is going to like what you do and that’s why I guess being a creative is about finding your tribe, the people that really get you and most importantly , the people you most want to be around and spend time with. . . So without any more procrastination the ROSE perfume oil will be ready to purchase for Xmas in small batches. During lock down I realised how important environmental scenting was and the importance to create a candle that was hand blended with clean and mainly botanical ingredients. I also wanted to create a subtle aroma that wouldn’t be overpowering. For example entertaining and cooking for friends -you can still smell the aroma of food served at the dining table. ... The candle will be launched with the new Rose Fragrance Collection just in time for Christmas.
