We designed this simple, chic headpiece and created it in our studio in Sydney. It features two rows, one row of beautiful freshwater pearls to complement the luxurious silky fabric in her wedding dress, and one layer of clear Swarovski crystals. So understated yet glamorous, this handmade piece was a delight design. 17.01.2022 This was such a special piece. We created this headpiece for a bride who married many years ago. Her wedding dress was packed away and she approached us to create something sentimental using the lace from her dress. We were asked to create a small headpiece using lace from her wedding dress. It’s a creative way to keep something sentimental from your wedding day We cut a flower from the lace, kept the original pearls from the dress and formed a flower motif in the centre.... We then added Swarovski crystals and seed beads, hand-sewn onto the lace flower, to create beautiful detailing and add a high end finish to the piece. It was finished with a high quality, strong clip to fasten into her hair, to slip into various hairstyles.
