Due to the current Coronavirus COVID-19 health crisis, we are all facing a lot of uncertainty, and who knows how long it will last!? As a small business, we sincerely thank you all for your continued support to help us through this challenging time. As a consistent 5 star score on doors business, we already have a high hygiene and cleanliness standards, including hand washing practices, personal h...ygiene, etc, however to limit the spread of the virus in our community, we are taking the following additional measures: Condiments: Weve taken all of sauce bottles back of house and replaced with take away portions. Salt and pepper shakers are now kept back of house and are available upon request, with individual salt and pepper sachets soon to be implemented. Water Station: We have taken away our water station for the time being. Please ask at the register for a table water bottle. Additional Cleaning: We are sanitising door handles and bench areas more frequently and we are being extra vigilant to ensure tables and chairs are sprayed with sanitiser after use. Staff: We have asked any staff member that has flu like symptoms, to take leave and self isolate for 14 days as per the governments COVID-19 guidelines. Customers: Any customer who may be worried about their own symptoms, including coughing, runny nose, fever, we ask that you respect the governments and communities wishes and also self isolate for 14 days until you have recovered. The above measures are all based on current Government advice, common sense, and our continued responsibly to provide service continuity, whilst also remaining calm during these extraordinary times. 18.01.2022 This is great news for Penrith Whitewater Stadium, its hard working staff, the athletes and visitors that frequent the facility for training and recreational rafting, and the Penrith community in general! Penrith Whitewater Stadium is the only facility of its kind in Australia and has played host to major international events, such as the Sydney International Whitewater Festival and the Australian & Oceania Canoe Polo Championships, not to mention the Sydney Olympic Games w...ay back in 2000. With an investment and much needed upgrade of facilities such as this, it would allow the facility to return to its former glory, regain its iconic status in the local community, and continue to attract international events and athletes which will in turn provide a significant economic boost to the local area.
