22.01.2022 Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe I just got back from an incredible retreat in Pearl Beach with nine of my VIP clients. It was the perfect blend of energising workouts, nourishing food, nature, relaxation and great company.... Of the nine amazing women who came along, a few already had already formed friendships through training together or via our private VIP group, but most didn’t know each other well beforehand. There were women on the retreat of different ages and backgrounds, some with kids, some without. But the rapport among our group was so special and one of the big reasons for that, I believe, is that I’m very selective about the women I coach. I’ve knocked women back from our VIP program before because they’re not the right fit for the program - or the program is not the right fit for THEM. The women that do our VIP program all have a few things in common: they’re successful in other areas of their life and driven to be in the best shape and health they can be; they’re highly coachable (i.e., they trust the process and follow the program) and they’re willing to put in the work and time it takes to get results. I’m already planning our next retreat and in the meantime I’m excited to see what the next 6-12 months brings for these ladies and my other VIP clients .

02.01.2022 Sounds simple, right? Most of us probably think we eat real food all the time - but it’s amazing how much crappy, processed food can sneak into our diet without us noticing. And whether you realise it or not, that's going to impact on your energy levels, your body composition and your hormones (often with a flow-on effect to your weight). Here are a few tips on how you can get more real food into your day: ... Extra vegetables with your lunch and dinner (or try to sneak some into breakfast too - baby spinach, mushrooms or tomatoes are an easy start). Snack on fruit and veges with hummus, or boiled eggs instead of biscuits or crackers Drink water instead of juice or soft drink Plain or salted popcorn or edamame beans instead of chips The beauty of this habit is it's all about giving your body more of what it needs, not depriving it of foods you love. If you fill up on fruit, vegetables, protein, good fats and other wholefoods, you're less likely to crave sugary, processed foods that drain you of energy (I Iike to call it crowding out the crappy food).
