We understand how daunting this process can be in selecting the correct athlete for your program, that why we are here and have done it so many times before. ANCA scouting is headed up Steve Blackley who is well respected in Australian Basketball circles. Steve has a long history in the game as a player, Coach and administrator. He has won National Championships as a player in both juniors and seniors and has won 4 National Championships as a coach. In 2016 he was a coach at the NBA Beyond Borders Camp in Australia. In 2017 he was named the head coach of the Southern Peninsula team of the last 50 years. He has been involved in Basketball High Performance for the past 4-5 years. He has contacts at nearly every major basketball club in the country where he has built a reputation for his integrity and willingness to give back to the game. Steve played Junior College Basketball in the 90’s in California and played in several exhibition tours playing against some of the top NCAA teams during their non conference schedule. He has taken over 15 Australian teams on tours playing against American High Schools. He has arranged foreign tours of Australia for some of the Elite NCAA colleges in the country including: UCLA, Texas, Cal Berkeley, Washington, Washington State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Fresno State, TCU, American, Nebraska, Colgate, Hartford, Eastern Kentucky, Auburn, Nicholls and UTSA. He has huge network of College Coaches who regularly use his knowledge of Australian Basketball to help them with recruiting which has now inspired him to help more US Colleges recruit throughout Australia but to also help young Australian kids find the right school both academically and basketball wise.
