Jodie has done an amazing job with this group, an absolute pleasure to watch.... Finishing 10th overall in the State, out of 45 teams is pretty outstanding, especially considering they only lost 2 games in 4 days!!! Congratulations team

18.01.2022 State Age Wrap 12 Red ~ Coach: Emma Boland Manager: Maria Morcom What a little team of firecrackers!! You guys were amazing. To watch you all blossom over the four days was fantastic. ... 4th in your division = awesome result Shout out to this team for Most Creative Decorated Bus

17.01.2022 State Age Wrap 13 Red ~ Coach: Kiarah Woodbridge Manager: Nic Gill Congratulations on a great 4 days team!! Placing 2nd in your division is an amazing achievement. ... A fabulous group of girls, looked after by the majestic Nic Gill, who went above and beyond for this group of girls.

12.01.2022 State Age Wrap 15 Red ~ Coach: Ada McKenzie Manager: Jodie-Lee Lawless Under the guidance of Ada, this team went from strength to strength, finishing 2nd in their division. Love to see the smiles on their faces, finishing strong in their last State Age . Thank you girls for representing Highfields with pride and respect over the past few years, onto the next chapter of your netty journeys

12.01.2022 This team got very spoilt with an afternoon of face masks...We think this is 13 Red

11.01.2022 State Age Wrap 15 Navy ~ Coach: Bec Stower Manager: Peta Mulheran 3 in Queensland. Sounds pretty amazing!!! This team have been outstanding leaders and role models to our younger teams. To finish their final State Age with such a fantastic result, along with the friendships made on and off court will stay with them forever. ... Congratulations girls for embodying all HDNA stands for. You have paved the way for our future generations.

11.01.2022 Gratitude Post This is John from Better Movement Clinic Toowoomba. John travelled up to State Age with two other Physiotherapists and set up camp in our tent city. I think John had grand ideas of working on his PHD in his downtime.....little did he realise there is no downtime at State Age .... John went above and beyond for our girls, starting early and finishing late...worked his fingers to the bone (literally) and built up such a great rapport with players, coaches and managers. He even popped out a few times to watch our girls in action Thank you for the work you did with the girls (and some coaches ha!), the chats and often delirious laughter.......and the beginning of a long, healthy relationship #Highlanders https://www.bettermovement.com.au/

10.01.2022 2020 Representative Awards will be starting soon. Please note, this will be streamed in 2 segments with a break in the middle.

09.01.2022 State Age Wrap 13 Navy ~ Coach: Bell Hayes Manager: Emma Callachor This team is truly lovely to watch. Days 1 and 2 saw them hit with a really tough pool, where they missed out on Division 1 by 2 goals. Day 3 and 4 saw them only lose games by as much as 2 goals. To finish 14th out of 58 teams is pretty amazing and not reflective of where the team is at.... Congratulations to you all for playing hard, playing fair and wearing our colours with pride

09.01.2022 State Age Wrap 14 Navy ~ Coach: Nat Norton Manager: Michelle Vanzella This amazing team showed grit and determination to place 6th in the State out of 53 teams . Two serious injuries could have derailed the team, but they dug deep and worked together to push through. ... An absolute pleasure to watch, proud of you lot

06.01.2022 Nominations close next Thursday! Let's make this competition a success get your teams together for some fitness and fun What is the H-Series? The H-Series is an additional netball competition we are offering as a result of the shortened regular season due to COVID-19. The competition will offer U10, U12, Intermediate (13 - 17yo), Ladies Social, Mixed Social and the H-Series Ladies Competitive competition.... When and where is the H-Series? All games will be at our local Highfields courts starting from Monday 12th October. Game times are tentatively set for 5:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm (pending final team numbers). Younger teams will play in the earlier rounds. Who can play? Anybody! We're hoping having a broad range of competition styles will make this an accessible comp for everyone. You can put your own team together and nominate in a division (ask around at work, and check in with schools!), or you can register as an individual for us to play you in a team. What does it cost? The H-Series has a $40 player fee to cover the cost of umpires - that's it! Anybody not already registered with Netball QLD for 2020 will also need to pay their summer registration fee of $40. Register your interest here!: https://www.highfieldsnetball.com/h-series-summer-series

06.01.2022 Gratitude Post Our Coaches and Our Managers words cannot express how hard they work, and the passion they have to inspire our players to be the best that they can be. They are selfless. Some miss the opportunity to watch their own daughters play because they are focused on their own team.... They are committed. They give up their time, often at the expense of work or family time to be at training, carnivals and games. They spend time planning sessions, providing feedback and individual or small group sessions. They take on professional development opportunities to be better than they were yesterday. They drive buses, cook meals, do laundry, strap ankles, cut up fruit, put up tents, act as surrogate mothers, psychologists, nurses.....but most importantly they get to know each and every young person, and work to bring out the very best in them. They aren't perfect ; they recognise and reflect when they could have done things differently. And that's what makes our Management Teams so amazing . They work together, share ideas, knowledge and thought processes, and are united as one. They get tired, they share every emotion of their players, all the ups and downs, but they keep showing up because they love it. Thank you Coaches and Managers

06.01.2022 State Age Wrap 14 Red ~ Coach: Caitlin Fry Assistant: Lauren Fry Manager: Tash Williams This team placed 4th in their division. A beautiful team of girls who played their hearts out, and built their cohesion every game. Super proud
