18.01.2022 A few weeks ago Charlie stood up in front of a crowd of some of Queensland's leading SSE's at the Quarry Managers Workshop to ask what extra things he could do to become a Quarry Manager; specifically to take over from Dad at AQ? He went away with determination after a few quiet words with the big bosses; and a job offer or two ;) Mum thinks maybe a modelling career - look at those genes; hard to believe that apple fell off Daves tree lol GIVE HIM A SHOUT #CharlieforQM

09.01.2022 HAVE YOUR SAY TOO! WHAT WOULD YOU DO? This is Dave. Dave is the Quarry Manager. Dave is a business owner in the Gympie Region. Dave wore this shirt to a meeting in Gympie just last night. What Dave did...Dave entered the premises where the meeting was being held and stepped outside into the courtyard for a smoke at said meeting. ... Dave was then paraded in front of his peers and colleagues by two members of Qld Police whilst still inside a fenced venue. These two officers targeted Dave and then sought to harass him about the legitimacy of him being an invited guest; whether he was trespassing; whether or not he was genuinely at the said meeting; whether or not his intent was to cause a ruckus; this continued despite being on private property, declaring he was just out for a smoke. Dave was targeted for being indigenous. Dave wore the wrong colour shirt to town. Dave has the wrong colour skin. Was Dave in the wrong place at the wrong time? If there was no fence between Dave and the officers, would Dave have been arrested for trespassing as the officers suggested? Dave retreated to inside the venue where he was obviously a guest, member and respected person despite his choice of clothing. Its 2019 folks, and this shit DOES happen! QPS owes David an apology for their deplorable unsophisticated behaviour.
