13.01.2022 Congratulations to the Ghan Kilburn City FC on becoming the champion of champions in a thrilling game which finished 5-4 against USC Lion Soccer Club. Well done boys on winning back to back trophies.

13.01.2022 My newsletter will be hitting your letterboxes from Monday. You can get a sneak preview from my website.

11.01.2022 Steven Marshall's rail privatisation means that $2.14 billion of your taxpayer dollars will be handed over to a private overseas company.

11.01.2022 Andrea Michaels and I are working together with our Labor teams to build a housing policy focused on wellbeing that will leave no one behind. Today we attended... the Community Housing Council of South Australia AGM. The Board and Staff do a great job supporting the sector to provide housing options for people that need them. We chatted with Connie who is one of those that need a home.

10.01.2022 Fantastic to meet Tom Weatherall, Luke Becker and Trevor Worley who have set up the Facebook group support SA businesses. From humble beginnings in April, the g...roup has grown to in excess of 6,000 members in just five months. Tom, is an ex-Holden worker who has witnessed the death of an industry first hand and along with Luke and Trevor, is trying to do all he can to help South Australian businesses survive in difficult economic times.

09.01.2022 Wonderful morning for my street corner meetings at Northgate and Northfield. A lot of great discussions about the issues that matter to the local residents. Thank you to Councillor Matt Osborn and Councillor Hannah Evans for coming along.

08.01.2022 Last night I attended with Lucy Hood - Labor for Adelaide the opening of the Museum & Remembrance of the Shoah Service. Elia Limareff read a passage from Anne Frank's diary, as a reminder of what we must never forget.

07.01.2022 Steven Marshall repeatedly ruled out privatisation in the lead up to the last State Election, stating "we don't have a privatisation agenda." Public transport should be for people, not for profit.

06.01.2022 Peter Malinauskas, Susan Close and Stephen Mullighan today announced that as part of the response to the Liberal's State Budget - Labor will oppose the electric car tax. The tax would be the first of its kind in Australia. Industry sources have said the new tax will discourage ownership of electric vehicles. Additionally the new tax will create a precedent for distance-based taxes that could be extended to all other road users. Add your voice to stop this big new Liberal tax ...by signing the petition below. https://changesa.org.au/car-tax

02.01.2022 Plumbers, builders, electricians and contractors are out today with one clear message. They are calling for the Marshall Liberal Government to abandon its plans to privatise the maintenance of hospitals, schools and other public buildings and assets. These contractors face the very real and scary prospect that the work they rely on to keep their small businesses afloat could disappear entirely. That means less jobs, small businesses shutting up shop, and all while our State is grappling with the economic fallout from COVID-19. @ Parliament House Steps, North Terrace, Adelaide 5000

02.01.2022 Today is Australian Citizenship Day. I was honoured to congratulate our newest Australian citizens in a special COVID-safe ceremony held at the City of Prospect.

01.01.2022 I stopped in at Northern Community Legal Service to finalise discussions for a legal advice outreach office in Kilburn.
