25.01.2022 Last weeks project, removal of existing 90mm hardwood decking boards and replaced with Ekodeck 138mm composite boards. Perfect option for very low maintenance deck and also being so close to the water.

23.01.2022 Time for a new deck. Merbau boards , handrails and posts with stainless wires. Lined underneath with colourbond to utilise the space. Underneath has guttering.

17.01.2022 Todays project was to replace standard sliding kitchen window with new 4 panel bifold, now just waiting for the stone servary to complete the install

17.01.2022 Replacement of existing decking boards and new fence. We also had a very healthy visitor watching us.....

15.01.2022 A few pics of this weeks projects. Pool originally had large river rocks in this area. A quick dig out by Mick Barber and his little machine, framed up and a composite 138mm decking board laid and we have a great pool space.

13.01.2022 New pool deck ,glass fence and new treated common boundary fence. Decking boards merbau 140mm with Instagrain natural finish.

11.01.2022 Adding a more user friendly space and giving privacy from the neighbours. Adding in a small timber top for those afternoon bbqs or parties. Merbau 140mm decking boards , 60mm & 42mm screening boards finished in natural sealer.

11.01.2022 Extended retaining wall and new treated pine lap and cap. Everyday offers a different job.

10.01.2022 Removal of the centre brickwork and the positioning of a 250mm PFC turns dual single panel lifts into 1 panellift door. Thanks to Scott Chapman and Bradin for the team up. This can all be achieved in one day.

09.01.2022 Sometimes something different comes along.

09.01.2022 Construction of lower deck, connection of upper deck to raised walkway , connecting to lower deck and to yard with stairs constructed using powder coated aluminium stringers , merbau treads and stainless wires. Walkway and far deck topped using Duralife composite decking boards. Boards are a finished product which require not sealing, painting or oiling with a 25 year guarantee. 08.01.2022 Turning a relatively unusable space under a covered deck into a 4 tiered storage platform. Line the top with TP decking boards tomorrow.

07.01.2022 One of the good things about being a carpenter, there is always a different project that you can help the customer to achieve the result they are looking for. This little project was to remove the 1990s carpet and replace with a mid range priced floating floor. Definitely helps to improve the look of the little property.

07.01.2022 Merbau screen with bar. Perfect for entertaining. Sneaky pizza to be had.

07.01.2022 Removal of brick balustrades that were below required height and were also putting undue weight on to concrete decks. Required to build up where screeds had been laid then the glass was fitted.

05.01.2022 Out with the old treated pine stairs and in with the new merbau treads.

05.01.2022 Zero clearance gas fire place with tiled surround and raw edge slab for mantle. Another interesting few days. Still learning everyday.

03.01.2022 Another successful day. New entry door with frosted/ opaque sidelights. New tiles. Happy client.

02.01.2022 Getting closer to finished. Just the screen, mirror and door to go. Hexagon floor tile with hexagon mosaic in the niches, 600x150 Matt wall tile.
