RECIPE: - strawberries... - banana - blackberries - raspberries - cherries - lemon - water Instructions 1. First make some Lemon Water - add lemon juice to taste into boiled water, and allow to cool, then chill. 2.Juice all ingredients in your Angel Juicers, and also cut up some of the fruits into small bite-size pieces. Distribute evenly between the glasses. 3. Add ice if preferred, then top up glasses with some lemon water. 4. Garnish with a Mint Leaf and enjoy immediately!

15.01.2022 It is such a sad, sad day :( Growl Tiger is with us no more :( We just received the terrible news that a really lovely kangaroo friend of ours was knocked and killed by a vehicle close to the front of our property. Growl Tiger has been close friends with us for some time now, spending a great deal of time in our house yard - lazing around and nibbling the grass. He started to stay close to the house a while ago now, initially around the grounds of Club Verdigris. He had a pai...nful sore on the base of his tail, and we thought perhaps he liked the safety of being close to the buildings as he healed. As time went by, he became more and more frequent .. then he discovered a low part of fence into the house yard, which enabled him to easily jump in. After discovering that entry, he walked around the yard almost every day and night. We dubbed him 'Growl Tiger' because he made small growling sounds when he saw us - surely saying "Hi" in kangaroo speak ;P Dear Growl Tiger - we loved you very much and are so saddened you are no longer here <3 See more

15.01.2022 A big thank you to A.R.R.O.W Wildlife rehabilitation for coming out to our property to collect this darling little koala today, whom I discovered alone with no sign of a mother. We named her Rosy, and she'll spend some time in rehabilitation before returning to us.

14.01.2022 HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all you Dads out there :D Kids ... give your dad a treat and make him this recipe: OUZOTINI - FRESH PINEAPPLE JUICE with a great twist! This pineapple juice Vodka Martini has a surprise addition--the Greek liqueur, Ouzo. The results? A shaken, not stirred, Ouzotini - WOW!... Fresh pineapple juice is a delicious and healthy drink, rich in the protein digesting bromelain enzyme, peroxidase enzyme, a natural digestive enzyme that is also known to be a natural antiinflammatory. In addition, it is thought to be a major anti-tumour component. Pineapple juice is also filled with vitamin C and potassium. If the pineapple is organically grown, then you can juice the rind as well. The rind of the pineapple is the primary source for the bromelain. What more can you ask for from this easy to make sweet and 'delish' drink. Chinese herbalists suggest adding a little salt to pineapples to help reduce and/or eliminate a slight itch that the pineapple may cause at the tip of the tongue. Makes 2 drinks Ingredients - 1/2 cup fresh pineapple juice 1/4 cup Ouzo 1/4 cup Vodka 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice 1/2 cup ice (omit if desired) Preparation - Purée your fresh Pineapple in your ANGEL Cold Press Juicer.~ In a Martini shaker, combine pineapple juice, ouzo, vodka, lime juice, and ice. Shake well; strain into 2 chilled Martini glasses rimmed with sugar (sugar is optional). ** When choosing your fruit, look for a golden coloured skin that has a sweet aroma. ~ When juicing pineapple in a cold press juicer, be aware that it may well be a slower than usual process, due to the many fibres in the pineapple. Also, take care if using the rind. Be sure to keep a close eye on the process and don't allow the juicer to become blocked, Omit rind if you have any doubts, as rind that is too hard will cause problems. Same applies to the core. Many pineapples have a sweet, soft core - but some have cores as tough as old boots! Don't try to juice the latter.

11.01.2022 Just sharing this monster called FIRE!! Trusting anyone else out there who is affected by all that is happening currently in Qld and NSW is coping! The fires have been shocking here - we are in the vicinity of the Ravensbourne, Crows Nest, Peachey range .. all of the State Forests are alight! :( There were loads of water bombers going to and fro over our property last night for hours, picking up from Somerset Dam and dropping on the fire. The planes and choppers sounded like... I would imagine a war to sound like :O The fires have now got a little better close to us, but the wind is staring to pick up again! Crows Nest - one of the fires at the top of the range is again under an Emergency Warning. The whole range that spans from us to near the outskirts of Toowoomba is seriously alight. Many evacuations have been called, and last night they brought in one of the special huge water tanker bombers to assist. Esk, which is a town about 15 minutes from us, was evacuated - even the hospital! We all look forward to these fires ending! #eskfire

02.01.2022 Korean Birthday Soup - Seaweed Soup Because the Angel juicer is manufactured in Korea, we thought we would make a post to honour their culture. This recipe uses the Grinding screen. This recipe is a slight variation on the traditional, and is perhaps aligned more to western tastes. We also have made it as a cold soup, but you may prefer to heat it before serving, and then top with the chives and sprouts. The grinding (homogenising) extractor housing replaces the regular extra...ctor housing (juicing screen) of the Angel Juicer with a solid screen, which allows the making of hummus, sauces, baby food, dessert, and frozen fruit sorbet, amongst other things. Miyeok is the Korean name for wakame or seaweed and Guk is the Korean name for soup. When women in Korea give birth, they are fed seaweed soup, Mi yuk guk [] Korean birthday soup as it is seen as the healthiest post-partum food to eat. Seaweed contains a lot of iodine and iron which help restore blood that the mother lost during child birth. It also helps with producing milk. Since this is the mothers first meal, it also means that it is the babys first meal. As Korean culture is based on Confucianism, your birthday is also a reminder of the day that your mother gave you life, so, as a sign of respect to your elders your mother in this case you eat Korean birthday soup seaweed soup as a way of giving thanks. Korean Birthday Soup - Seaweed Soup 2-3 Avocados 2 Cups of Water 1 Sheet of Seaweed Cup Soaked Macadamias Handful of Sprouted Sunflower Seeds 2 tbsp Sesame Oil 2 tbsp tamari; soy sauce, or nama shoyu 5 Chives small red onion 2 cloves garlic Chop the chives, onion and garlic finely. Using the Grinding Extractor Housing, let the seaweed, onion, garlic, macadamia nuts and avocados run through until you get a smooth paste. Mix tamari, oil and water into this paste. Add as much water as preferred ... either a smoothie consistency, or more water for a more liquid soup. Sprinkle with chopped chives and sunflower seed sprouts. The difference between the grinding and blank (mashing) extractor housings is that the grinding extractor housing has large openings on the underside, which allows food to be crushed and ground (homogenised), but not placed under the same pressure as in the blank extractor housing. 100% food grade 304 stainless steel.
