14.01.2022 I painted this simple moment in time 24 years ago to celebrate my wife's parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary. Our two kids and Jenny crafting a 'sand grandfather' on the Eucla beach. It's now on display in our gallery on Norfolk Island.

12.01.2022 NOT an ARCHIBALD FINALIST - third time unlucky - but determined to keep trying Working on Mark Oat’s portrait was a pleasure I enjoyed every second of the 200+ hours I spent painting him - even doing his crazy hair; which nearly drove me insane. Mark is ‘the salt of the earth’, honest, funny and a friend; his musical talent astounds me. The support from Jenny, Mark, Matty, Bron E, family, friends and the Norfolk community has been amazing. Special thanks to the Pedleys for taking the picture to Sydney for me. 11.01.2022 "Late swim, Emily Bay" is the second of three paintings which depicts this beautiful scene. Colours shift as the light changes - afternoon sun moves into cool evening - and an equally inviting, and welcoming, world is revealed.

05.01.2022 The serene beauty of Lone Pine, with the full moon shining from behind the beach. "Moonlit, Emily Bay" is the final painting, in my series of three, which shows the Island's ever-changing light - afternoon, evening and night - on one spring day.

05.01.2022 Back in October we had a wonderful day in Sydney with Mark Oats. We went to the Archibald 2020 Exhibition and chose a frame for his portrait. I loved painting Mark, and am so proud he bought the painting for his home. "Merry Christmas!" to all our family, friends and supporters - love from Adam & Jen at NORFOLK ART.
