25.01.2022 How's everyone going with their New Years Resolutions? I love the new year, it's a great time to reflect and reset. Although I love the idea of resolutions, I've had more success with setting an intention for the year and have created the '1 Intention method', below are the 5 steps. Think about what really matters to you, forget other people's objectives Ask yourself how you want to develop, write down some points if you like but resist the temptation to start a to-do l...ist here Notice which main theme is emerging for you (self love, health or money improvements, whatever it is, select only 1 theme for the year) Write down your intention to address your theme - keep it to 1 short point and make it positive! I have found that it works best in the form of 1 question but do what works for you Apply your intention to most decisions you make in 2020 For context, I'll share a personal story. Many years ago I had trouble making decisions for myself and found myself in a cycle of blaming others for my perceived lack of happiness. One New Years Eve I was tired of feeling unloved and unsupported and knew something big needed to change, so I set the intention to nurture myself that year. I did this by asking myself with each decision I made, 'what do I want to do'. It was so simple, but the effects were profound! At first it was little things, like booking a massage, watching a movie I liked, then it progressed quickly and the results were enormous. Within weeks I left a very toxic relationship, I lost 27 kgs over 12 months by eating well and exercising, I started making good financial decisions and began to choose activities, people and goals which brought so much joy to my life. Fast forward 8 years and I'm now very happily married, have a beautiful family, a career I absolutely love and have followed my dreams to travel the world This '1 Intention method' is quite simple and doesn't need to be hard work to be effective. 02.01.2022 NEW MOON Today I was reminded by a good friend about the importance of having rituals in everyday life. So in preparation for the new moon, I did a Moon Bath. Filled with healing salt to draw out any physical toxicities, I surrounded the bathroom with healing music, candles and crystals.
