25.01.2022 Did you know that it's international week of the deaf? Did you know that Angie's Domestic Duties has 2 deaf employees? Deb has been with us for 18 months, taking a short break during covid to do further studies, deb is 1 of our best cleaners based mostly on the fact that she can iron some of our younger girls struggle with that. Flordelica has been with us for a few months now, we have had some hurdles to overcome. Flor is not only deaf but she doesn't read or write in English nor does she lip read. Communication has been tricky. But with the endless support of Help Enterprises and the beautiful Vin we have succeeded. Full credit to Flor herself for her endless dedication and willingness to learn. Deaf people have more boundaries but these 2 ladies have so much dedication.

23.01.2022 I just wanted to reach out and reassure everyone that the recent news of a cleaner being arrested for theft is absolutely not one of our employees past or present.All of our employees have current police checks. But most importantly, here at Angie's we are a family. We are not just co workers. We are friends. My children call the girls Aunty we all have complete and absolute trust in one another. 16.01.2022 So nice to feel like our hard work is appreciated..... We are very busy this week but all of these amazing ladies (and Josh ) have really stepped up. Finishing jobs at 6pm. Doing 3 bond cleans in 1 day. Agreeing to work Saturday and Sunday. Doing relief work for other agencies. Staff are what makes a company. And we have the pick of the bunch working here. 04.01.2022 Today was one of those days. We got caught short staffed. Had to venture out of our cosy office chairs to do a bond clean, which is tricky when your trying to take calls and emails as well. And the bond clean was 1 of the worst we had seen in a while. So with 2 admin staff ( bloody brilliant cleaners still I might add) and 2 cleaners we tackled a monster clean. After a 2 minute phone call to Vin at help employment and training her and the awesome Joe found us a job seeker to do an immediate trial and hand delivered her to us. That's service. It was a long day. Thank you Vin and Joe. And Liz our office manager who did her 1st bond clean today But especially thankyou Josh and Shanay for pulling off the best bond transformation we could have hoped for.
