23.01.2022 Not all that flattering, but nevertheless, it was the appropriate garb for some pastoral visting in Cooroy on Thursday. Just goes to prove that if you've got 'the looks', it can't be hidden.

20.01.2022 Hi Folks. In case you've missed the news, we're having our first Ecumenical Prayer and Praise Service, (in the current era), this Thursday evening, at 6.00pm at the Cooroy church. Susan will be on the keyboard.... There'll be a mixture of new and old, including a couple of favourite hymns, some Scripture songs from the 70's and 80's, and some of the latest (good and singable) songs, from contemporary composers and musicians. Current Covid-19 regulations apply of course, but we can fit about 40 in the church -- family groups can all sit together. It'll be a good night! Cheers and Blessings, Fr Kev

15.01.2022 Well, not too bad for our first attempt. We enjoyed our Prayer & Praise on Thursday night. Quite a wide scope ot hymns/songs, and certainly enthusiasm for the next one, which will be in January, and at Pomona. The photos show us posing before we went home. Special thanks to Franki (Gympie) who took the group shots.

13.01.2022 On Sunday, November 1st, we're observing All Saints & All Souls, when we'll reverently remember before the Lord, the names of those relatives and special people in our lives, who have passed to their rest. Names may be entered on the list at the door for Pomona and Cooroy, right up until the start of the services. You don't have to be 'Anglican' or even a regular church goer to come along and record the names of those who were special to you.

13.01.2022 She should know -- of all people!

11.01.2022 Passing the blessing on, on the day after. Some dogs are quick learners. Shown here, is the Very Rev'd Mr Pooch, doing the rounds of the neighbourhood.

09.01.2022 He seems to do this a lot!

09.01.2022 Well, not really. More photos to follow. We had 7 dogs at Pomona, plus 7 dogs and 2 chooks at Cooroy.

07.01.2022 Yes, The Sunday, (October 4th) bring along your pet (whatever) for a blessing at Pomona @ 8.00am, and Cooroy @ 10.00am. Your pet might have two legs, four legs, eight legs, or no legs -- they're all welcome. Also bring their water dish if appropriate. We'll be thanking God for the blessing of their companionship with us, and praying that their companionship will continue. Really large animals might need to stay outside, but most should be ok inside. Their Mums and Dads need to keep them on their best behaviour.

07.01.2022 Yep, that's you and me.

05.01.2022 We welcome The Rev'd Dr. David Pettett as our guest preacher at both Pomona (8.00am) and Cooroy (10.00am) on Sunday, November 8th. David is a here temporarily, waiting to return to Honiara, Solomon Islands, when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. Come along to hear him speak -- you won't be disappointed.

04.01.2022 Yes, there were 7 dogs aat Pomona, with another 7 dogs and 2 chooks at Cooroy. One chook was in a handbag, and one in a doggie carry cage. My two Chihuahuas were on the leash. A thoroughly enjoyable and 'different' Sunday for St Francis of Assisi. Young Samson helped me with the blessing process at Cooroy.
