07.01.2022 Due to the current border restrictions, some of our NSW families were sadly unable to attend the boarding house dinners last week. However, six boarding parents held their own Gerald House dinner at home at Yamala, Delungra, NSW and zoomed in on the main dinner at Churchie. Emma, one of the parents, contacted our Chartwells site manager, Joost, who was kind enough to share the menu and photos of the food so she could replicate the dinner at home.

07.01.2022 Last year we followed the boys of 2019 through their PYP Exhibition journey, from the early provocations through to exhibition day, and produced this short video. They did such fantastic work, and we look forward to seeing what the Year 6 2020 boys have in store for us.

02.01.2022 Years 7 to 9 students in the Aquila programme recently studied one of Australias most loved and infamous paintings, Jackson Pollocks Blue Poles. They investigated the physics of the notion of viscosity in regards to the paint, the mathematics of the fractals behind Pollocks painting, the artistic techniques and methods behind the work, the historical and political context of the paintings controversial acquisition by the Whitlam government and the economic valuation of art.
