23.01.2022 One more measure we will take regarding COVID-19 is that we will have our Thursday services at church instead of Lady's chapel to make sure that people do not sit too close to one another.

20.01.2022 Archbishop Geoffrey Smith has been elected Primate of Anglican Church of Australia. https://www.anglicannews.org//archbishop-geoffrey-smith-el

15.01.2022 You might have read that the archbishop has decided to pause public services starting on Monday 23 March. As this measure starts on Monday, we will have services this Sunday, but if you feel you are vulnerable, please stay home. We will continue with our Bible studies during the week and will try to think of something to replace the Sunday services.

11.01.2022 While Thursday service is cancelled, we will continue with the Bible study tonight through Zoom. Please join us in the Bible study tonight at 7.30 pm. The connecting information is as below. 10.01.2022 Following is the message from Archbishop. It will be announced on Sunday's pew sheet, but if you read this tonight, please start praying tomorrow. Dear Colleagues, Earlier this week I met with Fr Philip Marshall, the Apostolic Delegate for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide, and part of our conversation was around being proactive as Christian communities in the light of the coronavirus pandemic and the fear and anxiety in the community.... We decided we would call our communities to pause for prayer at 8am every Friday from now until at least Pentecost. This pause can be for just a few minutes to pray for: an end to the pandemic healing for people suffering from the illness those researching a vaccine our political and community leaders as they try to provide wise leadership our health workers as they are at the front line A suitable prayer could be Almighty and Allloving God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we pray to you through Christ the Healer for those who suffer from the Coronavirus Covid19 in and across the world. We pray too for all who reach out to those who mourn the loss of each and every person who has died as a result of contracting the disease. Give wisdom to policymakers, skill to healthcare professionals and researchers, comfort to everyone in distress and a sense of calm to us all in these days of uncertainty and distress. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord who showed compassion to the outcast, acceptance to the rejected and love to those to whom no love was shown. Amen. Archbishop Michael Jackson Dublin & Glendalough Philip and I also thought it would be good where possible to ring church bells at 8am on Friday mornings as an audible sign of the Christian community in prayer for the wider community. We will be trying to do some media next week to let the wider community know what we are doing. I realise that this is very short notice for tomorrow, but could you people know and encourage them to join in, if not tomorrow then on following Fridays. At a time when many are feeling very helpless prayer is a ministry we can offer to our wider community. I encourage you to join in with the people of your community. In Christ +Geoff On behalf of: Geoff Smith Anglican Archbishop of Adelaide

09.01.2022 Parish Council members worked hard today to prepare the Covid Safe plan. Thanks to their hard work, we are ready to reopen church next week.

06.01.2022 Today's ban on gathering of more than 100 people indoors shouldn't affect our Sunday services as we have less than that in services. I will post updates if there is any more change.

05.01.2022 Because of the government's decision on Sunday, now we cannot have Bible studies at church either, so we will have the Bible study online through google hangouts. Join the Bible study by clicking https://meet.google.com/yii-eoxn-ffwn or if you do not have access to internet, you can join it through phone as well. Call 03 8594 5481 and use PIN 777 819 159#

03.01.2022 Today's Lenten Study is cancelled. For tomorrow's Bible study will be conducted through either zoom or google hangouts. Please watch for the post tomorrow.

01.01.2022 Mary Marshall's funeral will be tomorrow (8 May) at 1.30 p.m. It will be live-streamed, so you can watch the funeral although you can't be there (because of COVID-19 restrictions). Simply click the following link and you will be connected. https://livestream.com/accounts/8710393/events/9119269

01.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I have to report that Mary Marshall died yesterday. It is particularly sad that parishioners cannot attend the funeral due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

01.01.2022 It was great to have over twenty of you join our service today (about half of them through phone). We will continue all our services this way for a while, so let's keep in contact. I have also added fellowship time (the time that we can just chat with one another through this online method) Fellowship times this week are: Monday 1 p.m., Wednesday 7.30 p.m and Friday 10 a.m. I will either increase or decrease such time depending on the participation.
