I'd l...ike to thank Robbie and his partner Amelia along with Mercy and Col (totally wasn't expecting a gift) for coming along and showing their support. Don't forget Robbie is hosting karaoke on Sunday arv, I've reset the settings in his karaoke software to get it working properly as he'd been having issues. 09.01.2022 Hi ya'll Amy here. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Robbie for taking part in my journey of self discovery. I came to know and become friends with Robbie through being a regular singer at his sunday afternoon karaoke sessions. A few months ago Robbie initially asked me to fill in for him for 3weeks while he was away, which turned into 8 weeks. Have to say that I was hesitant at first, just didn't think I would have the confidence to 'do it all'. Well what sta...rted out as me doing a friend a favour and wanting to do the best job I could for him and his business has quickly turned into so much more then I'd ever expected or intended. For those of you who don't know, with the help of my aunt I setup up and arranged to run karaoke friday nights with the Kalka under Robbie's business name and using his equipment, while Robbie continue to run Sundays. Through helping Robbie run karaoke, posting updates ect here on his page, advising, supporting, giving him direction and asking my dad Brian Ogden (who's been playing and singing on the country music seen for many many years, been a judge for Charters Towers country music talent quests, and won a couple if singer song writer awards himself down Tamworth. Hope I got all that right and didn't miss anything dad) to adjust Robbie's sound settings to get the best possible audio quality from Robbies gear. After much thought and a lifetime of learning and buillding up confidence, I've realised that I could be doing all I've done for Robbie for myself. So here it is guys n gals, from now on I will be running karaoke under my own name and using my own equipment. Robbie and I will remain friends, our businesses will coincide and we will continue to support each other Robbie will continue running the Sunday sessions. Haven't got much on my page atm but please like and share for updates and posts in regards to future friday nights and any additional karaoke sessions. Ps. 02.01.2022 We had an awesome night at the Kalka last with the Chargers. Lots of singers, lots of dancers all having a great time. Was such a good turn out and crowd that the bar allowed me to keep the karaoke pumping til 1am. Thank you so much to every1 who came along.
