24.01.2022 Twenty Fourth Sunday after Pentecost A busy service where we heard beautiful singing by the choir at a COVID -Safe distance from the congregation and each other, a young parishioner who joined the reading roster, a thought provoking homily by Rev Sue and celebrated two birthdays as well!



21.01.2022 We warmly welcomed back Rev Sue after her annual leave. Dr Deborah Osman filled our "no singing" Covid requirements with some beautiful music on the piano and organ.

20.01.2022 Twenty Fourth Sunday after Pentecost A busy service where the choir sang beautifully at a COVID-Safe distance, a young parishioner joined the reading roster and did a great job, we celebrated two birthdays and Rev Sue gave a thought provoking homily.

19.01.2022 Transfiguration. We welcomed organist, Mark Joyner to play for us in Andrew's absence. Our choir has recommenced singing the psalm, and during communion. For the first time since Covid, the congregation sang the last hymn, our favourite for the occasion, "Shine Jesus Shine".



19.01.2022 Advent 1. The first candle of Hope was lit in the Advent Wreath.

18.01.2022 All Saints Day was celebrated with a beautiful Eucharist with the choir singing again.

18.01.2022 We are very sorry to advise the the Trading Post planned for this Friday & Saturday, 20 & 21 November has had to be cancelled because of current COVID-Safe restrictions. We hope to see all our regular Trading Post customers in 2021. Our first Trading Post for 2021 is planned for February 26 & 27. Do keep watch on Facebook for information.



17.01.2022 After a welcome change of plan SA Health allowed us back at church and a large congregation celebrated the feast of Christ The King. The church was dressed in white for the occasion.

16.01.2022 Shrove Tuesday. During the service our palm crosses were burnt to form the ashes to be used for the Ash Wednesday imposition of ashes. Following the service we went into the garden to enjoyed the traditional pancakes.

15.01.2022 The 10am Holy Communion service today acknowledged Remembrance Day. The congregation were invited to light a candle for those who have died and those affected in anyway by war or conflict.

13.01.2022 Services for Sunday 22 November, 2020 - The Feast of Christ the King, have been cancelled due to COVID -19 restrictions. We will advise when services can resume. Stay safe !

13.01.2022 Rev'd Samson was the celebrant and gave the homily on the 23th Sunday after Pentecost. We also said prayers for Defence Sunday.



11.01.2022 The Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost. Rev. Samson was the celebrant at our two Eucharists this Sunday, and we enjoyed his lively sermons. Many thanks Rev Samson.

08.01.2022 With the raising of SA Health restrictions at midnight on Saturday, services at 8.30am and 10am on Sunday will go ahead with required social distancing, sanitising and contact tracing. Although masks are not mandatory, their use is strongly encouraged.

06.01.2022 The 19th Sunday after Pentecost. Rev Sue was the celebrant and Rev Samson gave the Homily.

05.01.2022 Anglicare Sunday. Jill Rivers and Peter Burke gave us a presentation about the work of Anglicare and how they have been coping in the time of COVID-19. A very generous amount of suitable goods had been donated by the parishioners of St Richard's.

02.01.2022 Twenty First Sunday after Pentecost. Our choir has begun singing again, at the required distance of 2 metres apart and wearing masks.
