25.01.2022 Decker is looking for his Forever Thing! He is a stunning lad with a sensitive yet playful little soul. He has a gorgeous brown and gold tabby coat and enjoys snuggles, dinner time and having a play. Check out his profile! If you aren't looking for a feline friend right now, we'd love if you could share this post :) ... https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/826509

25.01.2022 Happy Halloween, Fam! Here at ATS, Halloween is a great excuse to dress up our kids. Okay, we don’t really need an excuse. But here is a cute photo of some of our team getting into the Halloween spirit. ... Remember, lollies and chocolate are not safe for your fur fam but feel free to load up the skin kids. Drop a photo of your FurBabes all dressed up for Halloween.

25.01.2022 To swim or not to swim, that is the question?! Reddington and Keen are having a grand ol’ time in ATS care. They have developed a beautiful little relationship and are now a bonded pair We feel so privileged to be able to welcome all kinds of animals into our little organisation, but we wouldn’t be able to do it without you Fam. So, thank you ... Fun fact: the wild Muscovy duck (cairina moschata sylvestris) is actually a native of Mexico, Central America and Southern America

25.01.2022 Our beautiful friend, who we have dubbed Entrepreneur Evie, makes custom blend glitter pots. And Oh-Em-Gee are they gorgeous. Evie has made a special Halloween blend along with a few other beautiful blends: - Disco Ball... - Party Pop - Mermaid - Stars Above - Fairy Wings (personal fav here fam) We'll pop these additional colour ways under this vid. Not only is Evie a savvy business woman, but she is a generous one. Her incredible tubs are only $5 each and she has committed to donating $1 from each tub to us - little old Animal Trust Society!!! We are so thankful and absolutely blown away that Evie has taken up this initiative. Her mama proud be proud - #RaisedRight ;) THANK YOU EVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you'd like to purchase a tub (or more), please comment below and we'll reach out on Evie's behalf :)

23.01.2022 We have almost hit the five week mark This week Peanut discovered the dinner bowl and has become a plump little pudding in the process. Pecan on the other hand is still trying to work out how to get her two eyes pointing in the same direction ... We are unsure whether her eyes will eventually straighten up, but either way she currently seems A-okay and always manages to lock in on the camera. This week we have been working hard on the exposure front - dogs, other feline friends, vacuum cleaners, washing machine noises, foot traffic, and well just life in general. We want our BabyCats to grow into the most robust felines that they can be and that all starts with this critical socialisation and exposure period. It is important to build independence in a safe and developmentally-appropriate manner (more on this in our next post). This morning our babies chose to nap in a Pet Circle box while Mama Luna had a chance to do her own thing child-free. PS. Big thanks to Pet Circle for not only having the best delivery boxes and fantastic prices but for also being so supportive of our tiny charity

23.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT Entering care at just two weeks old as part of our Community Assistance Program we have had the pleasure of watching as Peanut sprouted into the gorgeous BabyCat she is today Peanut has now managed to bag herself the most fantastic Forever Thing. Between the photos of her snuggled up to their resident cat, and her napping on her new Dad’s chest we have simply melted ... Peanut’s Forever Thing didn’t care about colour, gender, size, or shape. They just wanted a gentle addition to complete their puzzle. Could this pair be any more perfect?! Together we have managed to Break The BabyCat Cycle and Peanut has flourished. You have made this possible, Fam! Whether it be a donation, an adoption, a like, a share, or simply a supportive comment - every bit contributes to the difference, never underestimate that

23.01.2022 This is Smurf and she is one of the swimmer babies we have in care right now. Along with Swimmers Syndrome, Smurf has Flat Chested Kitten Syndrome which means due to her inability to walk properly and upright with her legs from an early age, her chest has been holding all of the pressure of her body on the floor on which she scoots. Instead of her rib cage growing in a more rounded fashion, which allows her lungs and heart to be protected in that environment, her rib cage has... grown horizontally - or flat. Basically FCKS is exactly what it says - the kitten has a flat chest. Her impacted rib cage means her lung capacity and heart are at risk. To alleviate this, to provide her a better chance at her rib cage growing properly as she ages, we provide heavy rehabilitation. Part of this is physiotherapy and a large part of this is binding and caging. This is done in a specialised way to align her bones and to protect her chest should she rest on it. The outer chest cage that we bind to her is rounded (either using toilet paper rolls or customised device per kitten) to help encourage her chest to grow in a more rounded fashion. There is a lot of work that goes into swimmer babies, even more so if they have other health complications such as Smurf with her FCKS. If Swimmers Syndrome and FCKS are not treated accurately with the correct knowledge and treatment, the kittens bones can grow poorly, resulting in further health complications or even death (yes Fam, we’ve seen it). It’s not as easy as wrapping up a kitten in tape and a loo roll. It’s not an easy road. It’s not a cheap road. But it’s a road we are willing to travel down to help these babies. Without your help, we couldn’t be able to do this. We are good for food at the minute, but we are seeking monetary donations for specialised vet care, imaging and ongoing costs for our four current Swimmers. Can you help? Click here if you can or share this post for education if you can’t: https://bit.ly/33268gD

22.01.2022 Pedigree Pets Still End Up On Death Row There, we said it Fam.. Say Hello to Moët ... This girl is as fancy as her namesake. She is a papered Australian Mist but to us she is simply a cat and her story is ever so similar to all of the CareBabes that came before her. There really are no differences from where we are standing. Moët found herself in dire straits as her owners decided that euthanasia was the best way forward. Moët isn’t sick. At seven years old she has just strutted into her prime years. This lass is gorgeous, has a huge personality, and is ever so affectionate. She does not need to die. We are ever so grateful that the Team from Campbelltown Animal Care Facility were able to intervene and get this girl safely into our hands. Very soon Moët will be on the hunt for a new Forever Thing. A family to love her as she grows her greys and to enjoy every moment this proud little lady has to offer

22.01.2022 If you have ever thought about donating to ATS, now is the time. Not only do we have quite a lot of high needs animals in care, we have programs in the works to bring them back better than ever. You can check out our donate page on our website: https://www.animaltrustsociety.com.au/donate... Or even better: consider becoming an ATS sponsor. You can either sponsor an animal whilst it is in our care or you can donate ongoing. Link is here: https://bit.ly/36IxoUr We appreciate every tiny dime we receive and you get a massive bang for your buck. We don't pay wages, we don't claim expenses and we actively donate our own hard earned money to keep it going when we don't have enough monetary donations to keep us going. We'd love your help Fam, we are all in this together

21.01.2022 Today our little old lass is spending yet another day at the vet. This is unfortunately becoming a VERY common sight for Laika The plan was to have her dental situation and leg addressed. Salvageable teeth cleaned, rotten teeth extracted, and an attempt to manipulate her displaced kneecap back into place. At this point we are not sure whether we will be able to proceed with the anaesthesia and procedures.. Laika’s health is incredibly poor. ... We have taken two sets of bloods which do show some improvements but she is still anaemic. While she is on a specialised diet which is higher in protein, fat and fortified with iron - she is also on heat. We know Our heart breaks for Laika. As this tiny emaciated dog slowly learns to trust, she faces yet another set back and more complications. Today we wait for the third blood panel results. If the procedure can take place and is successful we are looking at months of specialised rehabilitation. If the patella manipulation is not successful which is incredibly likely, then Laika will need to see the orthopaedic specialist on Friday. While Laika is still tentative she is slowly learning that we are here for her and not to hurt her. We are currently hand feeding her to ensure that she is able to eat without fear. She is also receiving weekly Synovan injections to help ease her arthritic discomfort. Laika’s medical bills are quickly becoming mammoth and rapidly they grow. We are looking at thousands of dollars to ensure that Laika can live out her days feeling her best. While we hate to ask for help, sometimes we really need it Fam.. If you are in a position to contribute to Laika’s ongoing medical costs please see our donation details below. At minimum can you please share this post, spread the word, and hope along with us that we can come out the other side with a comfortable and content little girl PayPal Donation Link: https://bit.ly/33268gD Bank Details: Name: Animal Trust Society BSB: 112 879 Acc: 493739865 Ref: Laika *** All donations over $2 are tax deductible - please advise if you’d like a donation receipt ***

21.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT These handsome lads have landed their Forever Thing. Here at ATS, we are lucky to be able to take animals such as roosters into care due to our rural zoning. ... Hamish and Andy have been rehomed to an awesome little rural hobby farm and are now living with four brown hens. They are very popular with the ladies. Congratulations boys for finding the perfect home.

21.01.2022 We took little Laika to the vet the day after we received her from the pound, prepared for any costs that were coming our way, even though she is technically under Duty of Care and any expenses incurred by us are at risk of not being recovered if her previous people step forward. There are no obligations legally that would make them pay for any veterinary care we undertook in the seven day DOC period. Kind of crazy right? Unfortunately, due to this, many organisations are u...nable to commit to providing the required vet care in such cases as they cannot and/or will not take the risk. Even more unfortunate is that, in our experience, some veterinary clinics will not take that risk either. They require prepayment before treatment. It’s a potential financial burden. Thankfully, we work with vets and organisations that would never do that, but some do exist. We don’t believe in such practices. Our team would happily eat noodles for a month if it meant sacrificing our own wages from our day jobs to pay for her care. In any case, her visit entailed minimal action. Why? Because she is too weak and too malnourished to do much else. She’ll require much TLC and appropriate weight gain before we can explore diagnostics such as blood tests, heart worm tests, X-rays etc. At first examination, however, we have found that her little knee cap is sitting up in her thigh. This is likely an old patella luxation that has gone untreated and become worse over time. And she has a moderate to severe heart murmur. A likely skin infection. And teeth that will need tending to. Laika is approximately 8-10 years old, but her years have been hard and this is evident in her appearance. She is in pain, so we are managing that with medication. She is malnourished, so we are feeding her small, nutritious meals several times a day along with meal replacement liquids. She is afraid - of everything, so we give her some space but let her know we are here. Next steps: increase her weight, feed her well and reassess. She’ll likely need sedation for any treatment required for her patella lux and associated x-rays, and for that you need a healthy dog, or you run the risk of the worst outcome - death. Laika is a sweet soul that is afraid of the world, a world where she knows nothing but fear. We can’t wait to show her how loved she is

20.01.2022 Today we would like to introduce you to a company with two incredible young men at the helm. We first reached out to Titan Fencing & Gates almost three years ago when we moved HQ to a whole different place. As a residence, the house needed new fencing etc. The work they did was amazing. Full stop, right? So when we a ATS required some fencing in order to separate yards and areas for the safety of various animals we get into care, as well as ease of use when moving them around... etc, we called Titan Fencing & Gates again. We asked for a quote so we knew what we were dealing with, and one of the ATS Teamers was going to donate the dollars needed for this animal fencing. But... then a thing happened. Jan and Jake, the owners of Titan Fencing, decided to donate their time and ALL profit back into ATS in order to have this fencing done. Materials paid for at COST with ZERO other expenses for ATS. Two young men, so close to Christmas, worked in the rain for two days... for no profit whatsoever. Just to help animals because they believe in the work that we do here at ATS. And they didn't just knock up some half assed, free fencing. They performed the quality workmanship that had us contacting them in the first place. Even Arti and Beetlejuice approve! Jan (aka Goose) and Jake are kind, caring and always up for a yarn and a laugh. Two beautiful people that we feel lucky to have met. So, THANK YOU to Goose and Jake for simply being who you are. And for having some marvellous skills to donate to ATS ;) ATS Fam, if you need some fencing and want some strapping lads hanging around your house for a bit, please contact Titan Fencing & Gates because karma is a beautiful thing and these boys have a bunch of the good stuff coming to them :) xx

19.01.2022 FELINE FRIENDS Pecan recently spent the weekend with adopted ATS CareBabes Tumbles, Neo, and Lemmings. Following her big girl surgery we had to find the perfect balance between fun and recovery. Pecan thrives around feline friends and so far has spent time with six different cats while in care. She is comforted by their presence and has learnt valuable lessons from each interaction. Not to mention, the fun factor! ... Is your furry family member a little socialite too? Share with us below, Fam

19.01.2022 Say a big hello to these handsome lads, Hamish and Andy! Hamish and Andy are two strapping roosters that found themselves impounded after roaming around suburbia. Unfortunately, roosters are not permitted in suburban areas so the folks at Campbelltown Animal Care Facility gave us a call and asked if we had room at our semi-rural HQ to take them on. We did :) So here we are with two HANDSOME boys who will be looking for their Forever Thing in the very near future!

18.01.2022 Please give a big ol’ ATS welcome to the new kids on the block! Maddox (brown floof) and Minno (black lad) are straight out of Campbelltown Animal Care Facility. Upon collecting Moët the Team at the shelter managed to tug on our heart strings (minimal effort required!) and suddenly one new intake became three ... Staff were concerned that these two BabyCats had begun to drop weight and Maddox in particular had a very poor body score condition despite eating like a horse. BabyCats failing to thrive is what we do best! These two lads quickly landed themselves a spot at Abbotsbury Veterinary Clinic where initial testing has been run with follow-up to occur on Monday. We have to say a special ThankYou to Dr Kate who lovingly helped to clean up our lads following an accidental bottom explosion during the drive in. Let’s just say a hazmat suit would have come in handy! Both boys are now on a specialised diet and have a climbing medical bill. They, however, are chirpy and oblivious If you would like to assist with their medical costs please see our donation details below. If you would prefer to donate food directly, please get in touch and we can advise what these lads are in need of. If you do not have any spare change approaching this festive season please do not underestimate the power of a simple Like or Share. We appreciate your assistance Fam Donation Details: PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/ Bank: Animal Trust Society BSB: 112-879 Acc# 493 739 865

18.01.2022 As most of you would know, here at Animal Trust Society, we'll help out and take care of a wide variety of animals and have had anything from cats and dogs to goats and chooks. What you may not know though, is that we are huge advocates of native wildlife too. While we are not a certified Wildlife Rescue Organisation and cannot rescue and care for wildlife such as WIRES or Sydney Wildlife, one of our team members is an active WIRES carer and specialises in Macropods (hit us u...p if you ever want little joey spam ). So today we just wanted to pop in with a reminder that wildlife are precious souls just like the cats that warm our laps and the dogs that stand by our side. WIRES have a great community information course available online and it is absolutely free. For those interested, the link is below: https://www.wires.org.au/training/community-wildlife-course It is a great way to learn a little more about the animals that call Australia home

17.01.2022 Laika. We wonder, is this your first real Christmas? Did they love you enough to make you a part of their family? Unfortunately, we think not. You have been bred so much your nipples are damaged and your tummy is distorted. Your little lady area is engorged and on the brink of prolapse.... They weren’t registered breeders as you didn’t have a microchip. We’d be surprised if you’ve ever seen a vet. Your teeth are cracked and infection has set in. Your kneecap is sitting in your thigh because you haven’t had medical attention on an old injury. Your skin has an infection that requires medicated bathes every four days just so you don’t scratch holes in yourself. Your toenails are so long and curled they almost pierce the pads of your feet. When you came into care all you could do was shiver in the corner of a crate. That is now changing. You eat from the floor and are unsure of bowls. Was your food thrown at you for you to scrounge for? Little L, we hope you have enjoyed this Christmas. Your first one and hopefully the first of many. You deserve to be part of the family at such a joyous, family centric time of the year. Merry Christmas baby girl. We hope you enjoy the 816391689 presents purchased for you and the insurmountable about of love we have for you. You deserve so much more than what you’ve been given, so thank you for allowing us to give you what you need

17.01.2022 Our beautiful baberino TinyCats are doing wonderfully. We have a luscious black girl, a brown tabby boy, medium grey boy and a light grey boy. The little black lass was the first born and she was strong and active from the moment she was born. The littlest lad was a worry. Mama Maze didn’t open his sac so we had to do it manually. Then she was so exhausted she fell asleep with the placenta still half inside her. We very carefully removed it from her as the tiny kit was unabl...e to navigate toward a nipple due to being attached. At this time we noticed he stopped breathing, so with a little bit of rubbing, he gasped another breath (so many mixed emotions in such a short time!). The little boy wasn’t able to latch to a nipple so we helped him on his way. After about an hour and a half - the process was complete and we left Mama Maze and her four babies to be. They are just gorgeous and with Maze just being a young lady herself (maybe 7-8 months), she is mothering beautifully. Their journeys with ATS are going to be full of love and light and lots of learning - all of which you are going to be a part of. How cool is technology?! Do you have any questions about their birth? About the set up we have? Anything at all? Drop us comment below and we’d love to chat with you

16.01.2022 Well Fam, we did say that our little Mama was ready to pop any second, and she did! Late last night, Maze gave birth to four incredible little tiny baby angel dolls. She needed a slight bit of help from her ATS midwives, but for a young mama, she did amazing. Mama and babies are doing well and we are so proud of Maze with how she is handling new motherhood ... They are currently in their special suite which we have now temperature controlled to ensure their utmost comfort. These babies and their mama are going to need your help - food and funds are our priority at the moment so if you are able to help out, please get in touch. Eeeeep! We have lil squishy babies to love on! Get ready for TinyCat spam

16.01.2022 Our beautiful satellite Mama, TerreStar, is now looking for her Forever Thing! Check out her adoption profile to learn a bit more about this girl and the adoption process. We also have some cracker videos running through our Instagram and Facebook stories that feature TerreStar so feel free to check them out! She is a gorgeous girl and she deserves a gorgeous home :) ... https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/820596

16.01.2022 Wow! A big thank you to Wildflower Holistic Services for involving our itty bitty charity in this amazing initiative. We are so thankful!

16.01.2022 We don’t know her back story. We only know her now story... Found wandering the streets, alone. Her teeth are split and rotting, filled with infection. Her leg cannot hold weight and bows out. Her skin is crawling with fleas which have taken so much blood that she is anaemic. She is stoic and cautious. She is tired and broken. She is weak. She can barely lift her head to eat the warm meal we have offered her. She has an oldness to her that just doesn’t seem right.... She came to us today under Duty of Care from Campbelltown Animal Care Facility. She does not have a microchip so her owners have seven days to claim her. We don’t know if her state is due to being lost for a long time or something more sinister. Either way, she deserves better. Tonight, she is warm and she is loved. Tomorrow, we will need to give her the full treatment - we are talking multiple diagnostic scans, blood tests, mouth assessment and an all over check of her whole body. Surgery for her teeth and leg are not out of the question. Honestly, we are expecting thousands. But she’ll be worth it. To do this, we’ll need to call on you, our ATS Fam, to help. If you can give a lot, or even just a little - anything will help. We want to give her hope. Help us do that for her. Give her that hope. Our PayPal and bank details are below: PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/ Bank: Animal Trust Society BSB: 112-879 Acc# 493 739 865 We thank you for allowing us to do the work that we do. Some of these cases really hit hard. We don’t know her story, and we don’t know her name. So tonight, we will give her one. Please welcome Laika to her ATS Journey

So be sure to lookout for their profile listings as they come

15.01.2022 This is our little mama’s birthing suite. She has multiple places to nest (some are out of frame), the area is kept clean at all times, food available, entertainment at her finger tips and plenty of pats whenever she desires. Today her temperature has dropped a little, she hasn’t eaten her dinner and she is currently nesting in the dome you see picture here. ... Not long now Fam and we’ll have some little jellybeans joining us

14.01.2022 Happy Monday, Fam! We’d like to start your week off with this ginger-licious little girl Smurf is a purr machine and she’ll hum away happily while napping on your chest. Speaking of chests....... Hers was growing incorrectly, horizontally, instead of a more round shape to accommodate her organs. She was at imminent risk of having her heart and lungs compressed by her caving chest. But, with specialised rehabilitation, constant physiotherapy and precise binding, little Smurf is fighting fit and you wouldn't know anything was ever wrong with her. Her little chest feels lovely and round and all of her organs fit nicely inside. She is in tip top shape and absolutely thriving. Swimmers Syndrome is one thing, and Flat Chested Kitten Syndrome is another. There is a massive importance here Fam... one we will touch on in another post. So keep tuned for more educational posts on the types of cases we take into care here at ATS and how we treat them

14.01.2022 A coffee for Mama and a..... Well, what do we have here?!

14.01.2022 With the freezing cold and wild winds rolling in, we spent the weekend inside and took some time training with the Resident HQ Canine’s. Our friends at K9 Rawsome Australia have some Beef Green Tripe Chips which proved to be an absolute hit with the lads and we’ll be stocking up on these for sure What did you do this weekend Fam?

14.01.2022 A big ol' FANKU to our dear friends Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC) and The Mini Kitty Commune for assisting us with some food for our BabyCats, a new chicken coop (as you know we rescue a whole range of different animals) and some much needed meds for our special/high needs CareBabes. We have worked with The Mini Kitty Commune for years now and we are so stoked at what amazing things they continue to do in the rescue community. Legends, we love you and thank you

13.01.2022 Tiny Baby Love Decker, Amenadiel, Ella and Lucifer are growing so quick! Maze is a perfect little mama and all is well at the HQ Park Hy-ATS private birthing suite (not sure if you get that but if you do - how good is it?!)

13.01.2022 Hello, Spring! Yes okay, we are a day late but life happens, right?! With spring comes warmth, beauty and new life. And often new lives that need help.... Kittens, goats, lambs, calves and birds are all born in abundance during the spring time - all of which ATS bring into care and nurture until their Forever Thing comes along. We'll soon be launching some projects in order for us to be able to assist more animals not only this spring, but all the time. Stay tuned on how you can help

12.01.2022 Our baby goat, Remedy, is growing up so fast! She came into care at just 4.2kg and is now a whopping 8.5kg which is fabulous! She is running around with the other livestock, learning to do cute little fly kicks and has discovered she can jump onto window ledges BUT... she is affectionate, sweet and has just the right amount of sass ... We are in the process of weaning Remedy off her bottle, so watch this space as she will be on the lookout for her Forever Thing real soon!

12.01.2022 We watered our TinyCats and they started to grow! From left to right we have: Amenadiel, Decker, Lucifer and Ella. Each babe is slowly starting to show their gorgeous personalities and we are so stoked to be able to watch them grow into sweet little Kittymeows.... 11.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to each and every dad out there. Whether your kid has fur, feathers, scales, skin, hair.. heck, even if it is a rock - we are wishing you all a cracker of a Dad’s Day

10.01.2022 If you guessed baby goat from yesterday’s little teaser, then you guessed right This little piece of perfect is a young lass we call Remedy. Remedy is only young and requires complimentary bottle feeding. This means she is eating some grass and hay, but still requires the additional nourishment that specialised baby goat formula provides until she is of weaning age.... Unfortunately, this another of our not only cats and dogs end up at the pound because Miss Remedy here found herself in that very place after being found roaming suburban streets all on her own. But alas, this is a case where process and education have worked well for all involved so we’ll share Remedy’s story with you in a future post For now, please just enjoy this tiny baby angel with the most luscious and beautiful eyelashes and welcome her to the ATS Fam

09.01.2022 Smurf has her rain boots ready for this dismal weather Honestly could she get any cuter?!

09.01.2022 A D O P T U S Reddington and Keen are now ready for their Forever Thing! These two little duckerinos have formed the cutest of bonds and are now ready to go as a pair ... 09.01.2022 We think ex ATS CareBabe Juggernaut (now Jack aka Tetley) is living his best life with Papa Wazdog and his doting DogMum. What do you think Fam?! Do you have an ex ATS CareBabe? If so, we’d love to feature your kid on our socials - get in touch

09.01.2022 Meet Zuko, the Fire Prince. Zuko is a Beagalier. A Beagalier is a designer breed which is a mutt mix between a Beagle and Kings Charles Cavalier. They are known to be happy go lucky, energetic and intelligent.... Zuko made his way to ATS because his mum made the toughest decision of her life. She had to make the decision to have to work two jobs just to survived and knew Zuko was not getting the training and attention he needed. So she surrendered him He is a beautiful little boy and is only just on 12 months old. We are at the stage where we are teaching him some manners so that he can be ready for adoption. Whether a mutt, a pedigree or a designer dog - they can all end up in the pound, in rescue or worse. We’d like to thank Zuko’s mum, who met us at an event a year ago, for being so selfless and putting his needs first Please welcome Zuko to his ATS Journey

08.01.2022 Merry Christmas 2020 While this year may be a little different due to the current happenings in the world we would like to wish everyone well on this festive day. Whether you are spending the day together, connecting from a safe distance, or planning a catch-up for the future - we hope that it is as amazing as Cupcake’s beard ... We are sending love, light, and a sprinkle of cheer to each of our ATS Fam! Furred, feathered, scaled, and skin

08.01.2022 Pope is officially available for adoption. He is the perfect mix of crazy and cuddly and an absolute hoot to be around. He will fetch his own toys, run bonkers around the place then happily cuddle up for a pat and some love. Pope would suit any home and is a really well rounded little lad.... Check out his adoption profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/819440

08.01.2022 ~ VALE APOLLO ~ Almost four years ago, two beautiful brothers were adopted together by a very special lady. Anubis and Apollo were between 8-11 when they came into care, and their mum did an incredible thing by adopting not one, but two senior cats. These boys were inseparable.... Apollo quickly became known as Little One by his adoring mummy and it stuck. Each and every time the lads came to board back at ATS HQ, we called him Little One too. At a ripe old age, Little One became ill in the space of hours and slipped peacefully into the eternal sleep that death brings while being held in the arms of the woman that loved him more than anyone on this earth could - his mum. Little One was sweet, sensitive and always had a little quirk about him. We’d like to take this social post to not only say Vale Apollo, but thank you to his mum who, over the years, has become an ATS adopter, donator, supporter and most of all - a friend. She is part of the ATS Family and both Nubie and Little One were so lucky to have found her as their mummy in their twilight years. We feel lucky to know this kind hearted, twinkled eyed, sweet human too. So, Vale Little One. Thank you for your time and love here, for giving your mum the pleasure of being just that and for existing effortlessly in the world of rescue. Sleep Well

08.01.2022 2020 has been something the Dictionary hasn't published yet, but it's been something. Personally, professionally, in the NFP space, in any space - even actual space. What we do know though, is that life has changed for us and for the world in so many ways.... Please let us thank you for allowing us and continuing to support ATS through these trying times - in effect, permitting us to continue to our work that helps many people and animals. We are thankful. We love you. And we cannot wait to see what 2021 brings because 2020 has been a total fecal show Thanks Fam for having our backs, we'll see ya on the other side!

08.01.2022 Oops, we did it again. Looks like ATS seems to known as the place to go for swimmer babies. These three 3.5 - 4 week old little lads came in with their mama - each baby suffering various levels of Swimmers Syndrome and one with Flat Chested Kitten Syndrome.... Mama is a bit shy and unsure but the kiddos are social little Babycats and love a good ear scratch! So please welcome Mama TerreStar and her babies Sputnik, Vanguard and Mir to their ATS Journey. We told you Fam, we like the tricky cases! But we can’t do it without you

07.01.2022 The Satellite Gang - Sputnik, Vanguard and Mir. By the looks of things, this is one tough gang

06.01.2022 We showed you a photo of a little ginger lass the other day and asked if you know what was happening. If you guessed Swimmers Syndrome, you guessed correct! Long term followers of ATS would know that we are well versed in this syndrome and that it is relatively rare. Especially to have more than one BabyCat in a litter with the ailment. These three dollfaces found themselves at Campbelltown Animal Care Facility and the quick thinking staff called us directly to see if we cou...ld take them on. Given that we take mostly high care cases, it was a yes from us. The little ginger girl we’ve named Smurf and she also has Flat Chested Kitten Syndrome which will require a whole lot more work, the fluffy black lad is J and the back and white boy is Pope. Any Animal Kingdom fans out there? So please welcome these kits into the ATS Fam and come along the journey of rehabilitation. If you’d like to donate to the ongoing care and rehabilitation of these beautiful little swimmer babies, please click the link below. You can make a once off donation or become a sponsor and make it monthly. Anything helps https://bit.ly/33268gD

06.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT A chance encounter gone right! As we were going about our day we happened to bump into a lady who was looking for a new addition to her fur-family. ... One thing led to another and Pecan managed to zoom right into her perfect little Forever Thing, nabbing herself a new sibling in the process. Aren’t these two just gorgeous Talk about chance, Fam! We are so glad that both Peanut and Pecan have landed on their paws and we have to attribute that to your support. The tale of these two sprouts all started with our Community Assistance Program. A program made possible by the support of people like yourself, other organisations, and businesses who have so generously jumped on board to give our little charity a leg up and change the lives of these CareBabes and their humans. ThankYou

06.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT Pope, now Ollie, has officially found his Forever Thing! This beautiful little feline lad has landed perfectly in the arms of an incredibly loving Mum and Dad. ... While we miss our CareBabes once they are carried lovingly out the door, we are so glad that we carefully select amazing homes for them. Best of luck to Ollie and his parents in love and light always.

06.01.2022 Forever Thing - Wanted Maze is officially on the market. She is sugar and spice and all things nice. This girl will be your best friend and more. ... Smooches? Yes please. Head bops? She'll take them all. Snooty boops? Delish. She'll happily have a chat, weave herself around your legs and basically just melt your heart. Maze is not not only a BEAUTIFUL looking cat, but her little soul is just as perfect. Check out her profile below. If you aren't looking for a BFF just now, please share this post https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/828467

06.01.2022 Today, sweet girl, you officially become an ATS CareBabe. Your Duty of Care impound time is up and no one came to claim you. But we did. And we are committed to giving you all of the love and light that we possibly can. Over the past week, we have seen you improve - slowly, but surely. ... Your will to survive, to learn, to be loved is so endearing. Your stoic personality is incredible. Your ability to have just a tiny bit of faith after being let down your whole life is amazing. Laika, we love you and we couldn’t be happier that you are now officially our girl.

05.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT Our little swimmer and flat chested kitten girl, Smurf, has found her Forever Thing with a loving, adoring and beautiful family. It was love at first sight with this little FantaPants lass jumping right into the arms of her new mama ... Smurf would have to be the PURRIEST of BabyCats we have had the pleasure of having here at ATS. I mean, this chick would run her little motor simply by looking at her! Her favourite ATS person, Handyman B, a big, muscly, manly firefighter was not all that happy about his little cuddle buddy’s departure, so we had to basically pry her from his arms - but alas, our ATS CareBabes need to move on so we can continue to save more lives :) We wish this little gingernut and her new fam all the best for now, ever and always

05.01.2022 Maze is made of sugar and spice and all things nice This young mama is seriously amazing. She is so smoochy, sweet and affectionate. She is going to make the best companion to her Forever Thing when her ATS Journey leads her there

05.01.2022 We have hit the eight week mark, Fam Over the past eight weeks we have watched our tiny sprouts grow, thrive, and develop their own individual personalities. Peanut on the left has proven to be very food orientated. If we had to give her a job, it would definitely be a food blogger. The only issue is, she has yet to criticise an actual meal. In her mind, anything that crosses her bowl is delicious ... Pecan on the right would most certainly be an athlete. This little lass is often zooming around and inventing new toys from just about anything she can get her paws on. Her zest for life is incredible (as Peanut watches on contently in her food coma ). Our tiny girls are still a bit too petite for their desexing surgery but watch this space as Expression of Interests will soon be taken So Fam, what career choice would your pet make? We would love to hear from you in the comments below (photos appreciated!)

04.01.2022 Even though the crown may not fit our girl Moët plans to wear it anyway This lass is pure QUEEN We are grateful to be a part of her journey and look forward to what is to come as she is now #adoptable

04.01.2022 Don’t type the name in your search bar or social media posts - it will boost the algorithm. Don’t engage in the online protest - it brings publicity to the industry (any publicity is good publicity for these types). Don’t participate.... Stand in solidarity and silence for the thousands of lives lost each year, and more importantly - EDUCATE yourself and those around you of the reality. If you want some brutal facts in the name of education, here you go: https://www.animalsaustralia.org/issues/horse_racing.php

04.01.2022 Horses of Courses! We have six 18kg bags of Natures Best High Performance Horse Pellets available to those in need. They are located in the Southern Highlands and you will need to be able to pick them up as no transport is available for these unfortunately.... Please flick us an inbox if you are in need of these for your equestrian friends

04.01.2022 So, we did a thing. We took the satellite babies, Sputnik, Vanguard and Mir, and took them down to the spacious birthing suite turned nursery. The first thing Mama Maze did was smooch and groom Vanguard ... Mama TerreStar is a gorgeous lass and a sweet young feline, but we noticed she wasn’t all that interested in doing mum stuff. She just isn’t the soccer on Sunday’s and afternoon oranges kind of Ma, so we made the decision to see if Maze wouldn’t mind fostering her kits. And it is the best thing we have done. Not only are the satellite babes more active, starting to eat solids and are clean as a whistle.. but they are teaching Maze’s babes how to do some cute cat stuff too! TerreStar is a new lady and she can now get back to doing the single chick stuff she likes, but it has also made her a less tense, more approachable and loving cat. She went from growling and being super timid, to head bops and smooches. Sometimes you just have to make the hard calls and in this instance, it has worked out perfectly. Maze is just a baby herself but she is an incredible mother. Absolutely, freaking incredible.

04.01.2022 TinyCat Ella has only been in this world for thirty six short days, and already comfortably uses the litter box. Now, we aren’t usually in the business of posting felines doing their business, but isn’t it just amazing how catties have this sense of knowing?! Mama Maze has been fabulous in toileting training the crew and this is a perfect example of how well her kiddos are doing....

03.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT Lisa applied to adopt our little J and sounded purrrfect - a cat person through and through with a lot of love to give. Her partner, Gov, wasn’t real sure whether feline friends were really for him but happy wife happy life, right? Gov was telling us the story of how he went to pick up a pup many years ago, but another random little runt came and sat between his feet, and that’s when he knew he found his best friend.... Fast forward all these years later, and this happened. J plonked himself right between Gov’s feet. Coincidence? Not sure. But we now know Gov has gone from being a dog man to having a feline best friend with an amazing connection. Sometimes it’s not about seeking your soul mate, but letting them find you All our love and light to you Lisa, Gov and J

03.01.2022 As if Amenadiel couldn’t get any cuter and this didn’t brighten up your Monday morning (gross by the way, who even made Mondays?! Yuck) Plugging ATS in the purest of forms

03.01.2022 After much debate and trying as hard as we can, it is with sadness we have to announce that our Santa Snaps 2020 will not be going ahead. With COVID-19 restrictions and the ever changing status on rules, regulations and requirements, we simply did not have the ability to move forward with the event this year. We absolutely adore our Santa Snaps and quite honestly, it’s our favourite event of the year. So this breaks our hearts not to be able to do this :(... However, we won’t let the witch that is COVID make us cancel the event - we have chosen to POSTPONE the event until 2021. Take that corona, ya carrot! Santa Snaps 2021 is going to be cracking and we can’t wait to make it our best one yet. See you then Fam

03.01.2022 Yesterday, three of our smol boi BabyCats were transported in style (pink bubble carrier ) for a lil’ nip and a bit of a tuck at Caring Country Vets - Thirlmere and Tahmoor in the careful and brilliant hands of Dr Rennie. J, Pope and Humble all came home with empty coin purses so that’s a thumbs up from us. They’ll be ready for their Forever Things real soon Fam, so lookout for their adoption profiles coming to a screen near you ...

02.01.2022 Just like our little baby goat, Remedy, we are in need of the liquid gold that is coffee. Monday’s But alas, a new week, a new opportunity to crush those goals and achieve those things you’ve set out to do.... Little Remedy here is ready for her Forever Thing, so we’ll be posting her adoption profile rreeeaaaal soon. She is such a doll! PS. For anyone wondering, no.. we did not allow the four month old goat to drink the coffee. We only posted this to the wonderful world of the internet for entertainment purposes only

02.01.2022 The milk-bar is officially closed for business! Mama Luna recently spent the day at Abbotsbury Veterinary Clinic where she was treated to a spay and vacc to ensure that no future tiny nipple chompers will be on the horizon. While Luna has been an outstanding Mama to Peanut and Pecan, she is now ready to kick up her paws and enjoy the rest of her days child-free. ... Luna’s bags are packed and her family are ready and waiting for their girl to return. Cycle broken, Fam! Your support makes these ATS Journeys possible

02.01.2022 There is nothing like a bit of feel good news for a Friday afternoon. Our ducky friends, Reddington and Keen, who we rescued from Campbelltown Animal Care Facility, have found their Forever Thing Even better, is that these two duckerinos are now permanent residents at Blairmount Public School as part of their in house agricultural education program! ... Their incredible groundskeeper has built a purpose made, HUGE, enclosure for Reddington, Keen and their chooky friends. We are so thrilled that these beautiful birds will not only be treated absolutely incredibly, but they will help to educate the next generations. So thank you to everyone involved in their ATS Journey. Especially one of our special ATS Handymen (you know who you are ), as well as Blairmount Public School for taking these two on.

02.01.2022 This little lady is only around 7-8 months old and has found herself pregnant and homeless. She ended up in the care of Campbelltown Animal Care Facility who reached out for a Duty of Care rescue. This means she has not yet served her mandatory impound period, but needs one on one care. Once her impound period finishes, she’ll officially be an ATS Care Babe. Until then, we have set her up in her own room, complete with everything a little catty mama could need.... In the coming days, she will be seen to by our vets and her pregnancy assessed. Please welcome this sweet cherub into the ATS Fam

01.01.2022 When it rains, it pours.... When we got the call about the three swimmer babies we introduced to you in our previous post, we took action and brought them into care for rehabilitation. Swimmers Syndrome isn’t all that common, so when two days later we got another call saying you wouldn’t believe it, but we have another swimmer. Can you take him?l - not only were we shocked that ANOTHER swimmer kit found it’s way to the Campbelltown Animal Care Facility, but we of course sa...id yes. Humble is older than the 4.5 wheelers we have, he is around 7 weeks and his legs aren’t quite as bad as the others. But... Humble isn’t eating well, he is very dehydrated and he is having trouble going to the toilet. The latter is likely due to not having food and fluid in his system. So, we have a litter of swimmers and another little lad that requires liquid food syringe fed five times a day as well as subcutaneous fluid therapy for his dehydration. That’s a whole lot of special needs kids with various therapies and interactions required. As well as these meows, we have our young mama and her tinies and Remedy our little goat. Suppose it’s a bit busy over here at ATS huh?! Would you like to help? Funds for the many vet appointments is crucial and you can donate directly via PayPal or bank transfer (ask us how). The other thing that wouldn’t go astray is a shed for our supplies. But you’ll hear about that in another post. In the meantime, please welcome Humble to the ATS Fam. His journey has started and we can’t wait to share it with you

01.01.2022 ADOPTION ALERT Little Humble has always been a sweet, cheeky and loving little lad. He had all the neighbours surrounding ATS HQ wrapped around his little paw. He found his Forever Thing, and they couldn’t be more perfect. His mum and dad are absolute doting parents and we cannot wait to keep receiving their updates on his growth and progress... As you know, Humble had swimmers syndrome when he first came into care, but with intensive care and patience, this little lad has had the all clear and will life a normal and not have hip issues we acted early and we acted with specific and experienced care. Please join us in congratulating Humble and his family for finding eachother, completing his ATS Journey

01.01.2022 The Recycled Rainbow have decided to donate a portion of each of their sales to us, tiny little Animal Trust Society! We are so grateful for this opportunity and encourage you to check out the amazing creations by Emily and Evie - two incredible and selfless humans

01.01.2022 The moment has come Fam! Our tiny sprouts are now #adoptable Despite fast approaching twelve weeks these little ladies have remained very petite so we have had to hold off on their big girl surgeries until now. ... We have Peanut who likes to live life in the slow lane and snack all the way down the highway and Pecan who is polar opposite (think: toys, zoomies, toys, and more zoomies). These girls would be best suited to homes where they would have another feline friend for company (or you could just do a thing and bag both of these ladies together ). If your family is missing a kitten (or two) then look no further and slide straight into these BabyCats’ lives Peanut - https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/815545 Pecan - https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/815554
