25.01.2022 Worth a read for those of you unsure about washing your wool. I still tend to hand wash most but then place in a laundry bag and spin to remove excess moisture before drying flat. Do you have any washing tips you would like to share?

20.01.2022 A golden oldie for all ages. If you have visited the studio you may have seen these God's Eyes. A simple activity that can look spectacular. Selecting your frame is important.....make sure you select strong pieces....nothing worse than a weak frame snapping midway! 11.01.2022 WOW both 200m rolls of 6mm elastic gone gone gone in 24hrs!! Happy mask sewing everyone and please post some photos of what you are making......love to see the end results. Thanks to everyone for picking up and those waiting for post they will leave on Monday. If by any chance I can source anymore elastic I will let you know. Can you use a little thicker say 12mm??

05.01.2022 My apologies for having been so quiet. Lots of things been happening but I'm hoping to be more active on the page now. I've been doing some sorting at the studio and will be making some special yarn offers very soon. Today I have left a box on the front verandah with some little packs of yarn samples from old shade books. Please feel free to collect one free pack for your children to use in craft work. If popular I will make up some more soon and let you know. Please only take one per family so we can share around. I'll leave out until 5.00pm today and let you know times for tomorrow.

For those spending time doing a little sewing (especially those masks) I wanted to let you know I have some sewing thread to clear....check out the photos & price. Limited colours left in the 250m and 100m are in packs of 5 (some plain and a few mixed packs). Amazing value!!

03.01.2022 I'm getting lots of calls with customers all over the state searching for ELASTIC for face masks. I've contacted my suppliers but all of them are out of stock. Many of you will have created other options for ties and one great one is TSHIRT fabric (make sure high stretch). You don't have to buy this (although Lincraft has some @ $10 and I see Spotlight is out of stock) just check out your own wardrobe and cut up old t-shirts. Cut strips across the body (the most stretch) of about 2cm, the fabric will curl and won't unravel. I use a casing and thread through the strips and then thread both through a 9mm PONY BEAD. I then tie a knot at the end of each strip and now the strip becomes adjustable. A very soft and comfortable alternative.
