25.01.2022 So I had the privilege of making it official for this sweet little family today. Originally my colleague @weddingcelebrantbellarine was to do the honours but I stepped in due to her being unwell. This is where our wonderful group @geelongcelebrantcollective comes into its own, banding together to ensure our couples are well looked after.

24.01.2022 What a stunner of a morning @thepiergeelong to get these two married, finally!!!!! For Steph and Joel thanks to good old ‘Rona’ this was third time lucky!!!!! And to make it even sweeter they now have a bub on the way, so much to celebrate!!!!!

22.01.2022 A big Happy First Anniversary to Elise and Luke. It was a perfect last day of winter with the sun streaming in and lots of spring blossom surrounding us. What I remember most about this gorgeous couple is how excited and invested they were in their ceremony.

22.01.2022 A very Happy Anniversary to this precious couple, Althea and Matt, my nephew and niece-in-law. This was without a doubt the highlight of my last five years as a celebrant. Making it official for the adorable, chubby baby I held in my arms and watching him grow into the incredible young man he is today marrying such an inspirational and devoted young woman is next level. To be honest just thinking about this moment in time brings tears to my eyes. Love these two so much.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Emma and Nick on their gorgeous wedding yesterday. The Victorian weather was up to its tricks, being wild and windy so we took the ceremony inside and it was a perfect settling thanks to @jessicaaldertonevents and @rocklea_farm working their magic. Their little girl April was adorable and I know this family are going to kick goals in life.

20.01.2022 So my @geelongcelebrantcollective buddies and I are playing a little game to keep everyone entertained in these ISO times. It’s ‘two truths and a lie’ and it was my turn today. Mine are; I lived in an old lighthouse for 6 months. . My first overseas trip was to Bangladesh. . I lost my engagement ring whilst snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and it was found again by a team of divers. . Have a guess, which one do you think is the lie! All will be revealed tomorrow.

17.01.2022 Woohoo!!! Well done Regional Victoria. From this Thursday we have jumped ahead and can have ten people attend a wedding including the couple, celebrant, two witnesses and five additional guests! It is a small step, but a step in the right direction.

13.01.2022 Happy Christmas to you all. I am blessed to be able to be spending it with extended family in Melbourne. This means more to me than any other year given what 2020 has thrown us all! Stay safe and cherish those you love that little bit more tomorrow.

11.01.2022 Sunday was a total blast @batesford_hotel where Stacey and Raph after so many hiccups last year finally got to tie the knot. It was a perfect day and everyone was in such high spirits and for those that couldn’t travel we had them live-streaming in. I’m so happy for these two soulmates.

10.01.2022 Mon and Misch had the best time getting married down at Point Addis on a truly epic date yesterday....10/10/2020. Talking of epic, this couple are total sweethearts and laughed and cried their way through the most heartfelt ceremony. They were just themselves and in ‘the moment’ soaking up all the feels. I must admit to shedding a tear or two myself.

08.01.2022 What a beautifully captured moment of the joy taken during Jo and Luke’s special ceremony. These two were set on getting married on the beach and wow did the weather play with us on Sunday but we all prayed hard to the ‘weather gods’ and as Jo walked the aisle the clouds parted and the sun streamed down! These two have weathered quite some storms in their relationship and have come out the other side stronger and more in love than ever and I wish them every happiness for their future together.

The larger picture to the right of the article is my divine couple, Tess and Alex and I’m rather chuffed to say the picture is taken by moi!!!! Our hearts were full on Friday night over on the GCC socials sharing the crazy dash to make sure we delivered for our lovers!

06.01.2022 Thanks everyone for playing along with the ‘two truths and a lie’ game. Some of you were fooled and a few spot on. My first trip overseas at 21 was actually to Bangladesh, a massive culture shock and I will be forever changed from this experience. My engagement ring did indeed float off my finger to the depth of the ocean on the Great Barrier Reef and a diving team went down and miraculously found it glittering away on a piece of coral. Sadly I haven’t lived in an lighthouse for 6 months but hey this would be a fun experience so I thought i would throw it in there as my lie.

Not only do these ladies give me love and support 100 percent and will always have my back but they gently push me to be the best I can be. 03.01.2022 So wonderful to get these two hitched after snap lockdown threw their Valentine’s wedding plans into chaos. This location at the Powerhouse, was the coolest, grungiest place ever and we had so much fun! Congrats Demi and Trent.

03.01.2022 A big congratulations to Josie Nilsson and Magnus on their first wedding anniversary. It is great to be involved in so many different types of weddings and couples doing it ‘their way’. For these two they planned a fabulous night time ‘surprise’ cocktail wedding and it went down a treat.

02.01.2022 I had the honour of officiating the marriage of the stunning Alysia to the very devoted Josh on Friday. Like many of my current couples, we have had quite the journey to make it to their special day, and COVID has helped in forming an amazing bond as we all try to work around, work through and just work towards making it all happen. Alysia sent me a text this morning with feedback that just warmed my heart! Thank you so much for being the most incredible celebrant! We could not be happier with the ceremony and all your time and effort in the lead up to our day!!!
