25.01.2022 This 8am wedding in the Boranup Forest is still a favourite memory (one of many, but still, a favourite!) ... To marry at 8am was unreal -- the sunlight beams between the trees just got more and more beautiful as the sun gradually got out of bed. The location is incredible -- according to Zac Webb, traditional custodian, the karri tree is the third tallest tree in the world, and in the Wadandi tradition, is a medicine tree. Anyone in tune with nature truly gets this energy.... And this couple are just gorgeous through-and-through. Little did anyone realise that Chloe was newly pregnant at the time of the ceremony! Nine months later, they welcomed their beautiful son into their family. All the feelz

I took this photo as I was leaving the beach after marrying Ed Scissorhands and his beautiful Zoe... I still laugh that when I invited them to have their first kiss as husband and wife, they didn't stop! Ha ha ha! So good!

Then a working lunch with a PR wiz to sort out a marketing strategy for a new wedding event I’m dreaming up; Then a bedside visit to a friend to pep up her spirits; Then an art exhibition opening in Fremantle, of one of my brides; And topping the day off with a fashion parade and party at Featherhorn The Label (whose clothes I sometimes wear at ceremonies, and where I painted a mural a couple of months ago).
