20.01.2022 Another day, another cycle path upgrade! Have your say on the upgrade of the Gardiners Creek Trail path at the link below.

20.01.2022 The site for the new Monash Headspace has been announced! https://www.monash.vic.gov.au//Headspace-in-Syndal-to-open It will be located at 265-267 Blackburn Road, Mount Waverley (in the Syndal activity centre) and will be a directed youth mental health facility.... It is due to open in March 2021! This is such an incredibly important initiative and step forward for mental health in Monash, especially at this time. I could not be happier that the centre will be opening soon, and I could not be prouder that it will be located in Mt Waverley Ward.

19.01.2022 Huge props to Anjali Sharma, a local resident. Her courage and conviction are inspiring.

17.01.2022 Last week, approximately 30 local women participated in a Gender Equity Walk in Ashwood. This walk was in partnership with Women’s Health East and funded through the Office for Women. The walk brought together local women to share their experiences of the public spaces within Ashwood and provided feedback and recommendations on how these areas could be improved to make them safer and more inclusive for women and girls while walking through the key sites. This participatory research project will help with future planning in the area and we are intending to do more sites during the year. If you are a woman or girl who lives in, works in, or visits Monash, I would love to hear from you about where our next walk should be. Please be in touch!

03.01.2022 It's been a busy month of Council inductions, but I'm so pleased to be out exploring the Mount Waverley Village Market today. What a great day for it!

02.01.2022 This was an article that was recently published in Mawbima Newspaper in Sri Lanka. What an incredible honour it is to be able to be recognised as a voice for my community here in Monash and in my country of origin. It simply can't be overstated how much representation means to minority communities! This article has also been one of many touching personal reminders since I announced my campaign of my heritage and the people who've made me who I am.
