25.01.2022 An egret soaking up the sun on the lake's edge

25.01.2022 Was going through some old folders of Bali photos last night to send something to a friend, and came across this one from a few years ago, so I just did a quick edit. This lady who has probably worked as hard as anyone, in her life as a seaweed farmer, her face full of character and wisdom, .. yet still able to share a smile with a buleh :)

18.01.2022 When you are having a dry spell with bird photography, what do you do? Photograph a sleepy lizard crossing the road, of course :) Known by many names, shingleback lizard, blue tongue, bobtail goana, stumpytails...whatever, they are a common find in our country areas. This one had lovely colours and was happy to pose for me, until I encouraged him across the road to safety :)
