20.01.2022 The Hitachi 135RR Rail Bug was nick named by the UK Rail industry from where the design originated from. This innovative road rail/hi rail excavator is made up of a basic 13-tonne zero swing excavator and a special two piece boom. A custom built dipper arm in combination with being heavily counter weighted, and a rated capacity indicator, allows this machine to make it easier when working under overhead wire and lifting very heavy weights.

13.01.2022 Compact, flexible and super powerful, this road rail excavator is capable of dragging long lengths of rail with ease and has a super heavy lift capacity. The A922 road railer can also tow wagons with up to 120 tonne load.

13.01.2022 Our flexible flatbed platform trailers are mounted on rail and towed by a hi rail excavator. We have different size rail trailers from 2t to 20t carrying capacity and are easily lifted on and off rail with the host excavator. One of the biggest advantages of the rail trailer and hi rail excavator is its low build height that does away with any working at height issues, unlike hi rail trucks.

02.01.2022 In 1984, Riccardo and Raffaele Spinozzi decided to purchase their first Hitachi machine, a UH063 excavator. They purchased it from Dig Domino, who were a Hitach...i dealer at the time. It was used for many years in road construction, clearing land, sewerage, creeks, house blocks, and demolition before being sold to a plumber they knew. In 2005, Riccardo's company Anric Developments purchased the machine back off the same plumber, and they still own it to this day. This machine is still operational and currently being restored to it's original state! To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Hitachi Construction Machinery, we take a look at this vintage machine, and our strong relationship with Anric Rail.
