14.01.2022 Let us introduce another amazing speaker for this years World Health Symposium, Kate Barron, who will be speaking on the topic: Physical Examination for the Natural Health Practitioner. Katie Barron is a naturopath, college lecturer, mother, wife and lover of dogs and travel. Katie has taught the physical examination subject for the Bachelor of Health Science for over five years and believes that physical examination gives us valuable insights into patient presentation, help...s develop sound treatment protocols and builds rapport with the client. Katie toured seven cities in 2019, teaching two-day physical examination workshops to natural health practitioners and pharmacists helping them feel confident incorporating physical examination into their practice. 2020 threw a curve ball, placing a ‘Give Back - Pop Up Clinic’ practitioner training project in Sri Lanka on hold, but allowing a pivot in which the ‘Let’s Get Physical’ Online Training Membership was born. 2021 is gearing up to be just as exciting, with more membership experiences and ‘Give Back Clinics’ where practitioners can expand their physical examinations skills and their hearts at the same time.
