25.01.2022 Friday the 1st of May and we should all be up early getting some work done before we get to Moo Moo's for the May AT Mutual Opportunities Lunch. Unfortunately Mr C Virus had other ideas! These events have been very successful and as soon as the restrictions are lifted we will be rescheduling our next Brisbane event and our inaugural Gold Coast event. Flashback to August 2019 Mutual Opportunities Lunch where we had a great afternoon supporting Paralympian Sam Carter and rais...ing some money to send him to Tokyo. Sam has also had to put things on hold due to the Paralympic Games being deferred a year due to the pandemic. This delay will hopefully play into Sam's hands as he can spend more time fine tuning his performances and hopefully he can be showing us some gold medals when he joins us at our event after the Paralympics in 2021. 24.01.2022 In "Oh, the Places You'll Go" Dr Seuss wrote: "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose." I always loved this guy's books when I was a kid and I still enjoy the truisms that are contained in his writing and his turn of phrase.... With that in mind I think it is amazing what some businesses are doing to remain relevant in these times. Innovation and thinking on your feet are the order of the day. I have spent the last few weeks directing a lot of traffic to help people who are implementing out of the box ideas and people who are fine tuning and altering plans get connected with advisors and businesses who can help them get to where they need to be. 20.01.2022 One of my favourite things to do each year is get together with some friends and watch the SuperBowl. It is always a great game and yesterday was no exception. The Kansas City Chiefs fought their way back with an exceptional effort in the fourth quarter to take down the 49ers. 13.01.2022 Lets be honest. There are times when you have thought to yourself, I wish things were different. I wish I was treated better. I wish that life wasnt so soul-wrenching. Usually in such situations, you would have noticed that a lot of negative energy has made its way into your life and is engulfing you. You tend to endure more stress, more sickness, and less opportunity over the course of your life in such situations. All your positivity is drained out of you due to negativ...e influences in your life. So, how do you get out of this? Often it is the work we do and the people we surround ourselves with that are the root cause of our negativity. A way to change this is to find a new job, or to open up to a network of better suited, like-minded people who are focused on positive change. Although negative and positive thoughts will always exist, the key to becoming positive is to limit the amount of negativity that we experience by filling ourselves up with more positivity.
