25.01.2022 Me, covered in scrub ticks, from weeding the garden. The scabies cream kills them and the itch ease helps you to stop scratching and prevent infection with tea tree. The scrub ticks are so tiny. Hard to see. There have been record numbers of people in hospital up here (Atherton Tablelands) with paralysis ticks. The dry weather has extended the areas they are found in including BOWEN.

21.01.2022 I changed phone and internet providers hoping half with Telstra and half with Optus would help. Wrong. Anyway, I’m told I will be able to access the many phone messages and reply to everyone. If you don’t hear back from me please send me a text.

21.01.2022 Dave and I are recharging ourselves with family in South Africa. It’s been amazing to have time together, play with the grandchildren and meet the latest edition to our family, MacKenzie Muir. I’m also taking the time to investigate and prepare new things for Azure, that I hope you will enjoy.

08.01.2022 Beauty Therapists can now open to distribute products. If you need anything I am taking 40% off the usual price. You can email me or text an order through. Teena, the Owner of Professional Salon Brands (Vagheggi) will then post free of charge from Brisbane to whatever address you nominate. If I have the products in stock I can organise for them to be delivered. The Babor makeup situation is still not clear, with it being imported from Germany.

07.01.2022 There is still no information about about when beauty services can reopen but good news. Injectables and wrinkle injections are allowed. I’m looking into some mobile beauty options for when restrictions are eased. I hope it will be good if I organise it properly.

03.01.2022 I’ll be back working soon. I’m waiting for extra UV and ozone devices for complete protection from spreading viruses and bacteria. (For when no one is in the room for safety) We will also be installing extra medical grade air purifiers. My view is that the current measures for beauty services during COVID 19 are not enough. They do not cater for aerosol spread. We have always used practices to cover this but it’s a good time to take advantage of these improved sanitising devices.
