25.01.2022 It's #SundayShuntday! Today we look back to Round 3 of the 2018 New South Wales Motor Racing Championships. The Evo of Jack Winter cuts across the grass and spins out the BMW of Adam Gosling.

24.01.2022 Wheel-to-wheel contact is never good! For this #SundayShuntday, we see Cam Walton and Jarrod Whitty trip over each other during a Toyota 86 race at the 2018 Newcastle 500.

22.01.2022 It's a double feature for James Courtney on #SundayShuntday, though this time with a more recent incident. Suspension failures brought both Walkinshaw Andretti United cars undone at the 2018 Sydney SuperNight, producing some spectacular effects under lights.

20.01.2022 Happy #SundayShuntday and also Happy Fathers' Day! This week we are at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2018. Charlotte Poynting and Jonathon Bloxsom come together on the exit of Turn 2 during an Aussie Racing Cars race, with Poynting spinning down the hill on the inside before kicking up some dust and recovering.

19.01.2022 This week's #SundayShuntday features some rally action! The SORTHARE Suzuki Racing Team Swift does its best rally car impression during practice for the 2018 Bathurst 6 Hour.

18.01.2022 Big news out of Supercars yesterday with Jamie Whincup announcing his retirement from full-time competition following the 2021 season. Statistically the greatest driver in the history of the championship, it has been a privilege to watch JW rewrite the record books over the last 15 years. In his prime he was Hamilton-esque: he could always nail a qualifying lap under pressure; he could make a race strategy work where others could not; and he had raw speed that few could match... consistently. Some of the ATCC/Supercars records held by Whincup heading into the 2021 season: - Most race wins (122) - Most round wins (54) - Most pole positions (89) - Most championships (7) - Race wins at the most circuits (22) - Most consecutive seasons with at least one race win (15)

17.01.2022 Get in there Oscar Piastri!

16.01.2022 As I completely forgot about last week, today features a double dose of #SundayShuntday. This second post goes all the way back the 2004 V8 Supercars round at Sydney Motorsport Park (when it was still known as Eastern Creek Raceway). A number of the Historic Touring Cars got into a pile of trouble at Turn 1 in their final race of the weekend.

15.01.2022 This #SundayShuntday is a scary moment for the #40 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup during practice for the 2018 Bathurst 12 Hour. Luckily the car was unscathed!

14.01.2022 This week's #SundayShuntday features an incident from what was one of my favourite races of all time. Bill Trengrove (Mustang) and Andrew Bergan (Mini) had an epic battle for the lead in this Group N race at the 2012 Muscle Car Masters, with the Mustang stretching its legs on the main straight and the Mini attacking through the then-new circuit extension. The duel climaxed with this coming together in the esses going up the hill!

14.01.2022 #SundayShuntday takes us back to the 2016 Sydney Retro Racefest. Tony Axisa spectacularly lost a rear wheel off his Gemini during an Heritage Touring Cars race.

13.01.2022 Formula Fords can fly! Paul Zsidy goes for a wild ride over the top of Ben Reichstein in this week's #SundayShuntday. This incident occured during a Formula Ford Australia race at @Wakefield Park in 2015.

11.01.2022 This week's #SundayShuntday sees Jake Donaldson and Liam McLellan bringing up a whole lot of dust during a NSW Formula Ford race at Wakefield Park in 2018.

10.01.2022 The most intense moment I have captured on camera is the focus of this #SundayShuntday. The Mosler of Hayden Cooper went up in flames coming down the Mountain during practice for the Production Sports category at the 2018 6 Hour weekend. Luckily Hayden and the marshal were able to extinguish the fire before too much damage was done, but the car was out for the weekend. Car and driver returned in 2019 but, unbelievably, the car caught fire during practice again.

09.01.2022 #WackyWednesday this week does not feature an on-track incident, but a rather embarrassing situation for a fan in their Mercedes. They slightly misjudged this one!

09.01.2022 We go way back to 2011 for this week's #SundayShuntday. Luke Westall drops a wheel onto the grass and spins off the circuit during a saloon car race at Sydney Motorsport Park. This is my final post for the year; it's been fun reliving photos from the past but I am very keen to get back to the track in 2021! I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas and hopefully 2021 is kinder to the world than 2020 has been.

06.01.2022 #SundayShuntday takes us to Wakefield Park for the 2014 Shannons Nationals round. The BMW 130i of Michael Sloss and Ric Shaw goes for a wild ride through Turns 1 and 2!

05.01.2022 This is the final #WackyWednesday for now! Hopefully I can get back to the track soon to capture more unusual moments. This is Matt Hall Racing doing some formation flying with a few birds above the Newcastle 500 in 2019.

05.01.2022 Back on 28 June #SundayShuntday featured Mike Skinner and Steven McFadden in the gravel trap after spinning off on fluid dropped by another driver. Later that day, the pair were involved in another incident, coming together as the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge raced into dusk.

03.01.2022 Back to October 2013 for today's #SundayShuntday! This incident was during the second Australian Manufacturers' Championship race at Wakefield Park. Contact between Jame Camilleri and the Marshalls' Evo saw the latter off the circuit, but it was Camilleri who came off worse, retiring from the race. The Marshalls recovered to finish in 4th place.

02.01.2022 Superkarts everywhere! Today's #SundayShuntday features an incident in a Superkart Club Of NSW race at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2018. Adam Stewart went around and was very lucky not to be collected by the approaching field!

02.01.2022 #SundayShuntday this week takes us back to the 2018 HSRCA Tasman Festival. Daniel Nolan looped the Nola-Chev in front of the Group Q & R field and was very lucky to not be collected by another driver!

02.01.2022 This week's #SundayShuntday features James Courtney going for a spin at the 2013 Supercars Test Day at Sydney Motorsport Park.

01.01.2022 Happy Bathurst Day! Who will conquer the Mountain in 2020? Here's to a good race, a clean race and, most importantly, a safe race. Bring on the rain!
