24.01.2022 We're so excited to announce that we'll be opening back up for dining from tonight onwards! We have missed our customers so much, we can't wait to serve you with the Antico food and hospitality you love! So from tonight onwards (Friday 15th May) we will be opening up with 3 seatings for 1.5 hrs per table: 5pm - 6:30pm, 6:30pm - 8pm, 8pm - 9:30pm.... We are only allowed 10 people at a time, so if you’d like to lock in a catch up for 10 of your mates or family members that you haven’t seen in a while, this is your time! 17.01.2022 The Macarthur region has changed drastically over the last 15 years - and Mike and the family have been there to see it grow into an amazing community. When Antico Woodfire Pizza opened in 2006 we were the first Woodfired Pizza restaurant in the area, and the area was completely different. The Northern Road next to the restaurant wasn’t even here, it was just dirt land, which is crazy to think about now seeing how much the area has developed. The restaurant has come a long w...ay and family has been a big part of it from the beginning. In the early days, it was the family who helped build the restaurant, Mike and Margarita were there everyday building and overlooking everything. Aleks, Alen and Sofi were coming after school and on the weekend to help paint and tile. We wanted to create an experience that reflected eating around the family’s dining table in a vintage look and feel location. Years on, we think we've done well! 07.01.2022 We LOVE using fresh ingredients in our restaurant, this is the reason why we go to the markets and get our ingredients direct. We also have a passion for gardening, so we thought why not and grow some herbs and vegetables in our own back yard. Look the few tomatoes we have growing and the herbs definitely won’t feed the whole restaurant but we think its a nice touch. Next time you’re in pop out the back and have a look for yourself. We have chillies, some herbs and a few tomatoes growing, if you have any gardening tips please comment below and let us know.
