25.01.2022 Concept Fujitsu Lifebook. Has slots for Digital camera, Mobile phone and Tablet. Such a great idea. I wonder what it weighs. Wouldnt it be nice to just have one place to store your digital camera, laptop and smartphone? Well your prayers have been answered! The new Fujitsu Lifebook (also called Lifebook 2013) is a laptop that comes with, and stores your smartphone, tablet and digital camera all in one laptop. The idea is to provide consumers with an affordable laptop that... can sync and update all devices simultaneously from the same place. The design for the Lifebook was developed by Prashant Chandra after winning a competition Fujitsu was holding. The Lifebook allows all the parts and devices to work together with your computer without having to worry about USB plugs and cords. For example, the digital camera slot on the front of the Lifebook allows for instant connectivity, enabling you to download all your photos straight to the computer. You can also charge your camera this way. Another interesting part of the design is that the Lifebook doesnt come with a keyboard because it is also a tablet. The tablet, once slotted in place becomes a keyboard when needed or a second display screen. You can finally have it all in one package!

Theyre hoping that their invention will help us understand how we move and interact with our environment. For example, the electric cotton could detect how fast were walking across carpet or how were affected by our environment (i.e. t-shirts that measure pollutants in the atmosphere). Their main goal is to create a seamless interface between electronics and textiles.

This morning a my client told me of a story she had the night before where she received a phone call from a relatively well spoken and polite person asked to have access to her computer as they had detected that her Microsoft office software was an illegally installed by hackers and they needed to access her PC remotely to obtain details about this illegal software and the hacker. After hearing this story I immediately knew it was a scam and decided to draft this... warning for all to see. If you allowed this person to access your PC, they can cause all types of carnage and obtain information such as credit card or online banking details. They may however try to sell you some software to clean up the infections they say that have found on your machine. Microsoft is aware of these types of scams and so they recommend the following: -Be suspicious of unsolicited calls related to a security problem, even if they claim to represent a respected company. -Never provide personal information, such as credit card or bank details, to an unsolicited caller. -Do not go to a website, type anything into a computer, install software or follow any other instruction from someone who calls out of the blue. -Take the callers information down and pass it to the authorities. -Use up-to-date versions of Windows and application software. -Make sure security updates are installed regularly. -Use a strong password and change it regularly. -Make sure the firewall is turned on and that antivirus software is installed and up to date. -Contact your I.T department as soon as possible and have them check your machine for any signs of intrusion. -Scan your PC with Microsofts Safety Scanner to help locate and remove viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
