22.01.2022 To all our valued APBC members and friends, On behalf of our President and the directors of the Australia Philippines Business Council, I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and well during this unprecedented time. We feel for everyone affected by this pandemic and our special thanks go to all the carers, health policy makers and the immediate action of our governments for keeping us all safe from this virus. What we are facing may have surpassed every daunti...ng past pandemics and economic slowdown our generation is currently experiencing and what lies ahead depends on what actions we now undertake. As a valued member and supporter of the APBC, we thank you for your continued support and commitment to our vision and cause that we all bring to the Australian and Philippine business community. We understand the impact of COVID-19 to our business opportunities and strategies and the potential future damage this pandemic may still impact on our lives in the months to come. To alleviate this, we are deferring your membership renewal fees by a further 6 months. Membership fees for our friends and supporters who wish to join the APBC will also be deferred by 6 months. This deferral will be indicated on the renewal invoice you will be receiving if your renewal is due. For new members, you simply need to sign up via this link http://www.apbc.org.au/co/apbc-membership-application-form/ or click on the become a member button on our APBC homepage http://www.apbc.org.au/ and we will take care of it for you. We also encourage you to email our secretariat on secretariat@ apbc.org.au should you further wish to discuss our deferral, discounting or payment extension options. As most 2020 APBC events have been postponed and some cancelled, we are shortly inviting you to a membership zoom chat webinar of details to be announced very soon. Please stay healthy and take care of yourself and your family. I look forward to the day we can all resume our events and networking which hopefully will be in the not too distant future. Sincerely, Ramon Ramajo Director - Memberships (Chair) Australia Philippines Business Council

12.01.2022 As we approach the Christmas Holiday, we will all be taking a break. Some see the break as a chance to be with Family and Friends or just to have a rest. Most will be going to a Christian Church Service on the evening of the 24th of December, "Simbang Gabi" in the Filipino tradition. Let us reflect on what the Angel said to the Shepherds, "....I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today a Saviour who is Messiah the Lord was born in the Cit...y of David". (Luke 2:10b-11) On behalf of the Directors of APBC have a Happy Christmas. Eduard Alcordo President Australia Philippines Business Council
