25.01.2022 Happy 2nd birthday to our friends at TradeMutt ! It was nearly 2 years ago that we had the pleasure of having Ed + Dan speak to our clients about Mental Health awareness and introduce us to their shirts! Its fantastic to see them going from strength to strength with their message. Happy birthday boys, and well done!

16.01.2022 Generally, for a debt to be considered forgiven for tax purposes, you must be relieved from the legal obligation to repay the debt entirely, or there may be evidence that your lender will not insist on repayment or will not rely on the obligation for repayment. Where your lender merely postpones the repayments, and you acknowledge the debt, it will not be considered forgiven, unless there is evidence that the creditor no longer will rely on the obligation or repayment.

13.01.2022 So, what are the rules for claiming expenses when you work from home? If your home is your main place of business and you have an area set aside exclusively for work, you may be able to claim both occupancy and running expenses. If your main place of work or business is elsewhere, such as an office, but you do some work at home occasionally, you cannot claim occupancy expenses even if you have a home office area set aside. For more individualised tax advice, contact us at Tax Arana today!
