23.01.2022 The market is over for another 6 months. Overall people seemed happy with what was on offer..a good variety of stuff both usable and collectable. Good to see a few interstate sellers including Tony Hilton, Emmanuel Daicos and Ray Simpson from Sydney,Marcel Safier from Queensland and Frank Lutz from Adelaide. Saw a few very uncommon cameras including a French Focaflex and a Danish Neo Fot ( both of which found happy buyer's). The next market will be in March 2018..and the next club event is the auction for members on the 15th of October (viewing on Saturday afternoon the 14th October).

20.01.2022 The popular Russian Helios 44 lens (from 50-65 years ago) is suited for use on digital cameras to practice creating the pictured spinning/swirling bokeh effects. Exakta was one of the first SLR camera manufacturers and the pictured model (from the mid 1950s) features the company's classic lettering style on the nameplate. There are a number of Helios 44 lenses and Exakta mount gear up for grabs at our upcoming members only auction (see earlier posts for details)
