25.01.2022 Almost set and ready to load up in readiness for tomorrow night at the High Banks of Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway! Been a busy afternoon in the shed prepping the car, and getting the little things finalised ready to rock and roll for tomorrow night. Keen to jump back in the seat after our fairly consistent run last weekend at Archerfield, hoping to better our results at Toowoomba after our heart wrenching podium loss on the first night of the new race season.... Tickets are still available to purchase to catch all the action from the venue, if not, clayperview will also be live-streaming the event. 23.01.2022 The Sprintcar officially has its own spot in the race shed as of yesterday! Was a sad day also as we said goodbye to our 2014 Pmp Chassis Formula 500, now with its new owners on its way up North. We wish the team all the very best, and hope you guys enjoy your new adventure as much as we did! If any of our followers are looking at getting into the class, our 2009 PMP roller is still available, with plenty of spares to go with it and being sold separately from the deal. 14.01.2022 Unfortunately due to personal reasons, the team and myself have decided to sit out of tonight’s race meeting. Apologies to those who were coming out to watch tonight, and to our sponsors. Sorry guys.

09.01.2022 After a challenging introduction to the night, our consistency has prevailed yet again, finishing the night off on a high note. With a decent field of 14 cars competing, staying up at the pointy end of the field was the main goal going into the race. Unfortunately that was not the case, having to work our way up, deep from the field in the feature event. Heat 1: started 1st, finished 6th. Having originally pulled pill 4 at the start of the night, a car decided to start ROF ...pushing us up to 3rd. Come race time, poll sitter was a no show, putting us on the front row. Being the first event of the night, track was still fairly wet. Unfortunately we got tagged on the start by another driver who didn’t back out, allowing a few drivers to get underneath us of the first lap. We went backwards from there, only just getting into a groove with 3 laps remaining, having to settle for 6th. Heat 2: started 9th, finished 8th. Track was fairly hooked up come the second round of heats, with most of the passing happening on the first lap before settling into position to a follow the leader sort of race. We managed to have a few cracks at position 6 and 7, just couldn’t execute the moves at the right time. A-main: started 7th, finished 5th. Come feature time, track was still fairly hooked up and rough in the corners, proving to be a difficult race in the end. Got the jump in the feature getting most of the passing done in the first lap, before settling into a groove catching the front runners. The lead car spun mid race causing the first stoppage, from there the car was on rails, getting off the starts the best it has, challenging positions 3 and 4 a few times. However I started to get exhausted from holding on so tight, having to slow down a bit to nurse the car home, settling for 5th. Whilst we had to work hard for it, persistence was the key for the night. As always big thanks to Dad for setting the car up during the week and on race nights, car was on rails and was an absolute jet yet again. Also had the little sis come out and help for the first time in a while, who kept the car tidy after the heat races. Thanks again to grandad as well for coming out and giving us a helping hand.
