22.01.2022 Due to a cancellation, I have a free spot for clipping Saturday 30th May 1pm, hills based. Pm me for booking

19.01.2022 Very busy these past few days helping clients prepare for this weekend’s competitions. I’d like to say a very big, good luck to all riding at the Interschool State Champs, ESA Spring Gala Show and Wakerie Spring Showjumping

19.01.2022 A traditional trace clip with half head today for the handsome Mr Chevy

17.01.2022 One freshly sculpted tail. When sculpting a tail, I use a mixture of methods. I tend to clip the sides ONLY, never the top of the tail. Then if the tail is thick, I’ll pull the top to thin it out, then go over it with a ‘rake’ aka dog shedding tool to shorten the top hair without it looking shaved. Pulled/sculpted/shaved tails aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but you have to take in, the horses tail set, hair growth, if you can plait well and how much time you have the morning of a comp

12.01.2022 Apologies for not being all that active on this page for a while, life gets in the way at times Clipping season has pretty much wound up with only a couple more hairy ponies to remind that summer is on its way. With Covid restrictions settling, it means that my fridays and weekends are spent plaiting for all the different events, dressage days and shows that we are now allowed to go to Bookings do fill fast if there are multiple competitions on the same weekend, so please plan ahead and book early if you can, to avoid disappointment.

10.01.2022 Available days for May. Times based on hills locations Wednesday 27th 9:30 Thursday 28th 9:40/12pm... Please pm for bookings

08.01.2022 Well, my season is finally starting to look more normal April is now completely booked and May is filling pretty quick. Saturdays in May are limited to 23rd (am) and 30th. As a guide, saturdays book out very quickly, so if they are the only days that you have available, best to get in early As with all other years, cleanliness of your horse is paramount. If your horse is not clean enough, you will need to reschedule as I won’t be able to clip them. This will also incu...r a $10-$20 travel/postponement fee. As mentioned in previous posts, I now have a travel fee of $20 for singular jobs that I travel an hour or more to. If there are 2 or more clips on the same property, this fee does not apply

08.01.2022 When’s the best time to clip for shows? When this is happening

01.01.2022 Thankfully my season has finally settled into full stride and life feels slightly more normal for me lol. As such I am currently filling in my online calendar with all current bookings. Apparently it is sending out notifications Apologies, if this is a bit annoying. I’ve only just realised It is possible to make online bookings, but I do have to approve them as I need to factor in travel times between.
