23.01.2022 Where is the Green Sheep? Coronavirus edition

22.01.2022 Today the doors opened to staff, parents and children after the Christmas break. Parents can now enter the service and use the iPAD to sign children in and out and spend time in the rooms. We ask that adults continue to wear face masks upon drop-off and collection and sanitise before entering the service. Thank you!

16.01.2022 COVID UPDATE Great Ocean Road Health have no knowledge of any confirmed COVID-19 cases in our catchment areas to date. Great Ocean Road Health takes pride in m...aking sure our community is kept informed during the pandemic. If we are notified by the Department of Health and Human Services that a GORH staff member, aged care resident, patient or community client has a positive COVID result, then we will ensure the community is notified via our communication channels. This includes press, website, facebook, local radio, Instagram and emails. Our well prepared pandemic plan will also be put into action. Please remember to be kind to one another. We understand this is a stressful time for everyone but we are all in this together.

14.01.2022 SAY HELLO TO MARIE! She is our latest recruit and is working as Room Leader in the Starfish Room. Marie is from France and was previously educating children at La Petite Ecole in Caufield North. She has a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and a Victorian Working With Check. She has really enjoyed meeting the children as they return to care and has built a wonderful rapport with them. Marie will be programming plenty of activities with Rem over the coming weeks to build relationships and welcome families back to the centre.

13.01.2022 Welcome to the team, Tee & Jemma! Tee will be working full-time across the service and holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Jemma will be assisting Priscilla in the Seahorse Room on a school-based apprenticeship.

08.01.2022 PART-TIME TRAINEESHIP AVAILABLE......We are currently looking for a special person to work in the babies room at our service. If you have a gentle, caring nature, a sense of humour and lots of patience and are interested in studying a Certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care, this could be the job for you! The successful applicant will need to pass a Victorian Working With Children Check and be able to commit to 12 months of distance education.
