13.01.2022 Those of you that are interested in our Village's history... who are members of our FB page....why not become an actual member of the Appin Historical Society? We are a small group of people passionate about preserving our local history. You won't have to do any more than you want to, and will meet some of our "famous locals" (like Nola Douglas!) and can elect to participate in any of our projects, ranging from family history research to restoration projects. We need as many members as we can gather, in order to qualify for grants to preserve our history. Our latest project is to restore and preserve the heritage listed grave yard at St Bede's church in Appin. See the previous post about membership renewals, if interested, you can always message us (new membership $12)

02.01.2022 Good news up date. AHS has been approved for the Wollondilly Council Community Grant of $3,000 this will go towards funds needed for our newest project to repair the St Bedes Heritage Grave yard. We have a long way to go but everybit helps.
