But in the past I avoided them when I was getting a little, ahem, stricter with my diet as I was worried about the sugars. Not anymore! One banana a day provides a great amount of fibre and valuable vitamins and minerals and is SO worth the 100 or so calories Also, if they're on the slightly green side, this has its benefits too! It's called resistant starch and it's fantastic for your gut

04.01.2022 Made this healthy block of raw chocolate for a friends weekend away in Apollo Bay Brought it out about midnight and it went down a treeeeat Four ingredients! Recipe - 1 cup coconut oil ~ 1 cup raw cacao ~ 1/2 cup almond butter ~ 1/2 cup rice malt syrup ~ melt on stove, pour into lined tray, top with strawberries and sea salt. Let it firm up in the fridge until ready to eat, cut into chunks and then GO TO TOWN

03.01.2022 And introducing, the monjayaki... I had no idea, but there's actually two distinctly different styles of Japanese pancake- #okonomiyaki (Hiroshima-style) and #monjayaki (Kansai-style, mostly found in Tokyo). Okonomiyaki has a thin crepe like batter, cabbage, sprouts and soba noodles topped with a delicious sweet sauce, whereas monjayaki is made with grated yams and topped with a fried egg, mayo and sweet sauce. Apparently, Tokyo claims Osaka prefers the monjayaki but I think Hiroshima would beg to differ! They are both incred, FYI. #monjayakivsokonomiyaki
