24.01.2022 What a lovely day to be playing within our outdoor classroom today. This afternoon our kinder children were enjoying mud play, hammocks, planting veggies and natural craft activities.

20.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago we retired our lonely chicken to the country at our Mooroopna service. The children there love her and called her Sarah. She has a lovely new home and is thriving. Meanwhile, back in the big smoke, we received 3 new girls and they have been settling in nicely. Today we even got an egg from one of them!

20.01.2022 Our first music session was a big hit with our 3 and 4 year old kinder children! We began by singing songs we all knew but were a little shy to start with. Didnt take long until we warmed up! We really enjoyed using the instruments to express ourselves musically and to communicate with each other without knowing the words. Our favourite bit though was the dancing at the end. We danced tirelessly, using our whole bodies to really feel the music, laughing and smiling the whole time We cant wait for next week!

18.01.2022 Our outdoor environments are a constant source of delight for us! Today we spotted a little possum in the trees trying to get some shut eye amongst the noisy chattering and laughing of children. Upon further investigation we found a nest hidden amongst the tree branches and then we saw another one! The children were so excited they went off to the classroom and found a book on possums to read with the teacher. And then proceeded to sit and observe the nest and wait for anot...her glimpse of what we researched was a ring tailed possum. What an amazing experience for us all!
